How could I have  fallen for these crooks' lies? I guess the $39.95 coupon put me at ease - and they were so personable and believable and (in the case of John, looked so innocent)!  I didn't  recognize that they were pond scum. I am still hoping to recoup some of my losses which were $10,000+!! I needed that money to make real upgrades to my old house. They did insulation, which after an inspector came I found not only that they did it wrong and left the old insulation full of rat feces in the attic, and covered it up with the new. They "gave" me a new attic fan, which wasn't new, but they didn't calk it so when it rained it came through the roof and dampened the insulation. In the process of taking out the old insulation, they broke the wiring in the attic for our doorbells. The new ducts were left lying on the ground instead of strapped to the floor above. They left an old  screen that they should have replaced when they were "ratproofing." I smelled dead rat  in my house and called Rami a few days after were done. When he came out he said a rat got in my furnace blower and got chewed up so I needed a new furnace now. He said my furnace was 25 years old. Another furnace guy  said I had out said it was 13-14 yrs. old. By this time I thought (Duh!) I should check the CSLB number. They had a suspended CSLB license. Then I checked City Hall and found they had no city permit and license. I found this website and took comfort in the stories about others being taken in. I  checked the BBB and saw the "F" rating. I also included these things to the complaint I sent to CSLB. How come these guys are still in business!
