We purchased a "Stevie Nicks style" cape and legwarmers from Ocie's Threads online, at http://www.ociesthreads.com  She promised that she was a top quality seamstress, and these items would look just like "Stevie Nicks" own. We found the quality of the items VERY poor, like someone who was just learning to sew. The person who claims to be a seamstress is Ocie Melanson.

The seams were all uneven, the fringe was sewn upon the garment crooked, and the quality of the fabric itself, was far below what we paid ($200 for the cape alone). 
She kept bugging us, after we inquired about the items to get her payment, and over and over she kept emailing, finally, after we paid her, she seemed happy, and did not bother us again. She mailed out the items, and quite honestly, we were afraid to tell her our complaints, as she does not seem like the kind of person who would do well with criticism. So we are out our money, and have crappy clothes that I, personally, will never wear. 
We recommend do NOT buy from this woman. 
She cannot sew, and you could most likely do better yourself, even if you cannot sew, to purchase your own materials and try to make these items. 
I should have noticed she did not update her website since 2007, & only had six customers since then, that something was amiss. 
BUYER BEWARE. Ocie's Threads is nothing but some child trying to make a buck learning to sew. 
Contact a REAL seamstress in your city and have these items made, you will be much happier then we are.
