I too deal with OCWEN and recently had to obtain the help of the attorney general's office. I received a letter from OCWEN's attorney in regards to my "late payments". I did cover my butt, sent letters and payments via certified priority mail. OCWEN could not find the letters yet I had the signatures. They had to drop the foreclosure action because I proved they were at fault.

Now they are being totally wonderful. Just watch your back because they add things to your account and will go after you for the amount. Good Luck.

Ok I just don't get it. On friday of last week Ocwen cashed the payment I sent in for September. It took them ten days from the date it was mailed for them to cash it. But the payment that was mailed out in August they they said they got on Sept. 5 they still have not cashed. I don't understand what they are doing with my check. Also now all of a sudden my statement from Ocwen says I owe my regular payment for october due the 16th but also says the total amount due now is over 9000 which I have no idea where that came from. This company makes no sense to me. I am afraid all of a sudden they are going to demand 9000 right then and there and then what am I supposed to do ?

Well the check still has not posted it is nearly one month that I sent it to them . I go on there website almost every hour to see if they changed anything or changed their records to say they didn't receive the payment . Over the weekend it went from saying the payment was received on Sept 5th to saying that the I was billed for two payments and one was recieved . Now it is just saying that I owe for the sep. payment which was mailed out over a week ago , no surprise they havent posted that one yet.

Still NO checks have cleared my bank . I am almost afraid to go to my mail box God only knows what kind of mail I am going to be getting from them. Please to the person whos checks also have not cleared Please keep me updated let me know if they do clear and if they do anything drastic to you. and let me know what your lawyer says .

Jon from San Diego is right on the money. This corrupt firm cannot be trusted. There is mortgage firms out there that are financially rock solid, honest, and ethical in all their business practices. QCWEN nor Dovenmuehle Mortgage is not one of them.

This firm may be up to something; "up to their azz in legal litigation for corruption in that they engage in deceptive, unethical and fraudulent lending practices". QCWEN and Dovenmuehle Mortgage are in the same can of worms!

Ocwen is also holding my checks for 2 months and saying that they didn't get the August payment (1st mtg, we have 1st and 2nd with them)but they "say they got the 2nd mtg payment yet none of my checks for 2 months have cleared. The August payments were in the same envelope If they got one they got the other, and told me to send proof my checks have been cleared. I told them they have the checks. They apologized, said they located it everything would be updated and a letter of apology sent and emailed. I got the email the other day saying they never received my payment and stop payment and send a new check. Their mistake, but I should pay. Anyway, they cannot be trusted from what I have read. I checked our credit report and they have posted everything just fine, through July. Where is Aug and Sept. There mode of operation is to say one thing and do another. While they tell you everything is ok they are stockpiling "evidence" that you have not paid your mortgage and will forclose without ever notifying you. Be very careful. Get a lawyer. I am today.

Ok like I expected . The check I mailed out the day I wrote this original post was never cashed and here it is like 19 days later so what are they doing with my check ? The thing that is strange is on their web site when I search for payment it says payment posted on sep. 5 th but if it posted sep 5th why havent they cashed the check?

Now it says I am due for my sept payment which has been mailed out as well I wonder how long it will take them to cash that one. I don't know I just have a bad feeling here I wouldn't be suprised if they return the check and refuse to except payments. And believe me if that happens my lawyer is gonna get involved in this and well as every media station around .

So they better think twice before they make that move. So just incase any of you low life house stealing ripoff artists from Ocwen are reading this You are messing with the wrong person you won't win you won't get my home . So if that is your plan you might as well give up now.

Don't even bother to send them checks. Find the nearest business that deals with Money Gram, and send it that way. They get it in minutes, and they can't say they didn't. It's worth the 9.95, otherwise you have to cough up 25.00 for a late fee. Their receive code in Money Gram is 2355, city Orlando Fl.

First of all, I wouldn't believe a word they say. I'm sure they are just getting prepared to scam you ever further, and just want to keep you off guard. I would record any calls made to them and only call when given no other choice. As for the refinance offer, I'd run and not look back. Besides, I don't believe they are even licensed for refinancing do to their previous acts. They are basically just a corrupt collection agency.
