Ocwen Go figure! Foreclosed...or didn't? Carol Stream, Illinois

When we fell behind on our mortgage payments we spoke with Ocwen to find a remedy.  We were hopeful about the new Loan mods Obama promised.  Ocwen said "We don't do those"  I asked if they weren't required to, and he responded that they were not required to.  We also didn't qualify for their in-house mod. 

After being pestered daily via telephone for a payment, October 2010 rolled around.  We received nine letters from Ocwen in the mail that day.  They all said the same thing;  we were being foreclosed on and auction date was March 11, 2011.  We were also SERVED the same notice and received one via certified mail, all in one day. 

Accordingly, we moved all our stuff to storage and moved out into our RV, leaving our son to stay in the home until he was asked to leave.   March 11, 2011 came and went.   We assumed the auction went as planned. 

Monthly billing statements continued to come with additional fees added, including a fee for the title search.  The phone calls resumed.  In exasperation I finally took one of their calls. 

They had the audacity to tell me that they have no record of a foreclosure on our property.  Their correspondence says "We have been trying to reach you.  We can help you save your home". 

What a crock!  An automatically dialed phone call daily does not constitute an effort to contact someone! I keep telling them that They auctioned the place off March 11 and to just mail the Form 1099-S, 1099-A or 1099-C and quit bothering me.
