I had my mortgage with Option one, who sold it to Ocwen, got caught up in the ARM, could not keep up mortgage payments, so put house on market. Ocwen forclosed, house will be auctioned off on 7/1/08. I tried to contact ocwen numerous times, by phone, email and physical mail after they started forclosure. They never replied, would be on hold for hours at a time when tried to call. Anyways, their terrible service cost me my house.

Ocwen Corporate Greed

AUTHOR: Lesa - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, May 16, 2008

Poor Ocwen--they have created their own mess by extreme corporate greed. Maybe the fat cats at the top need to go to work for a change and earn an honest living.
I bet most of these complaints are from people who have made all of their mortgage payments on time. It is Ocwen who has erroneously posted ontime payments to reflect late and intentionally destroys the homeowner's credit so they cannot refinance elsewhere. Then Ocwen conveniently forecloses and takes the home--that simple. The fees add up to excruciating amounts and Ocwen wins again.
I know about Ocwen's dirty deeds and have legal proof. They cannot be trusted in anyway and the best dealing with them is none. There are so many complaints about Ocwen that it must be causing chaos in the company. They are the worst of the worst. I just wonder how many homes they have "stolen" by distraught homeowners just walking away?
I am so glad to see homeowners fighting back. If you are not a victim now, you probably will be sometime in the future.
Thank Goodness for good lawyers or there would be no stopping Ocwen.

Their terrible service did not cost you your house.

Not that I'm defending Ocwen. Due to other reports, they are probably a very shady company.

Because there are so many people who have not paid them, they had to lay off many employees. Due to this, there is no one there left to help. Can you imagine the amount of calls, correspondence, short sale paperwork, refinance requests, modifications, deeds in lieu, foreclosures, etc, they must be getting right now? They cannot hire anyone to help because no one has paid them, but those same people who cannot pay need to be attended to. Catch 22. I'm sure there are many people and homes they could have saved, but they do not have the manpower to handle the paperwork.

They probably fired everyone in their modification departments to keep the employees who handle the foreclosures. That's why the foreclosures go through before the modifications do. Then again, if they weren't keeping up with their foreclosures, no one would be asking for modifications either. People just wouldn't pay them.

How do you think I feel? I have made my mortgage payment ontime, every month, since I bought my home. I can't even get through to my mortgage company to ask a question.
