We have had problems with Ocwen from the day we were transferred to them through a HUD sell off. The first contact was that we were three months behind in our mortgage because we mailed our payments to HUD because we didn't know we had been sold and Ocwen said none of the payments were forwarded from HUD and wouldn't be.

They started adding to our basic payment unreasonable amounts of money we couldn't afford to "cure our Ferrell balance". When we couldn't make the payments they threatened to forclose. We ended up declaring a Chapter 13 to save our home.

After making 5 yrs of bankruptcy payments totaling almost 35K, Ocwen still claims that we have a Ferrell balance of about 15K. But, it is too hard to tell because every paper we receive has a different balance.

We are now in another forbearance agreement because they said our mortgage was $3600 in arrears coming out of bankruptcy and that we still have this Ferrell balance that the forbearance doesn't address. Where did all the monies from our bankruptcy get applied?

I have spent literally hundreds of hours on hold to Supervisors who can't help me. I speak to dozens of reps--Patel, Savy, Ashtar, many who have little or no command of the English Language. The original loan resolution officer, doesn't answer e-mails, her phone has been out of order for a month, doesn't answer messages on her answering machine and no one else seems to know how to help.

I need a complete accounting of payments to Ocwen and where they applied them. I get forclosure letters, termination of forbearance letters and more! How can they pursue customers if their own records don't add up? Ocwen lies, cheat and steals and we are all victims.

My husband and I believe they just want our property at all costs! Has anyone gotten any kind of accounting for a mortgage from this company? If so, please share!

Just looking for answers

I am not looking to get out of paying my Ferrell Balance! I just don't know what Ocwen did with $35K of monies from the banckruptcy courts. the Ferrell amount was included in our original filing for bankruptcy. I have been discharged from our bankruptcy owing Ocwen more than when we started even though they were the only creditor we were paying for four years.

When I asked for an accounting, it is jibberish.
I even have charges for seven drive by appraisals at $750 a piece in one year. Nothing is explained and everything is written in numeric codes. It can't be deciphered by anybody but someone who works at Ocwen.

The Ferrell Program was ended several years ago becuase people running the program learned that about 82% of all the people who joined the program to save their homes ultimatley lost them.
Kinda sounds like Ocwen doesn't it.

"Florida Bank Hit With $11.5 Million Verdict; Galveston Jury Says Ocwen Federal Bank Forced Woman Into Bankruptcy."

John,

Does that sound a bit familiar? I wonder... how many times did she ask for a copy of her payment history and got nothing but B.S., and then she got financially raped.

John from New Jersey what you wrote is incorrect and a*s summing.

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, November 30, 2005

How long have you been working for Ocwen Bank? You see I know because of what you wrote is incorrect and a*s summing. I have tried to get Ocwen to Back up everything in writing that was contract upon my loan being sold to them. They took over the loan in June and notified me in October a violation of RESPA.I never had any agreement with Ocwen and never signed any of their phoney forebearance plans. Not One time.I paid HUD off and they sold the loan to Ocwen under the same ,original Deed of Trust not to be changed or altered in any way or form which they did. Ocwen did that is. After 22 years Ocwen Bank said I owed a cool 63 thousand dollars and 20, 850.00 dollars called Other. I only paid 69150.00 John from Ocwen. How does this add up or come close to my original note which was a 30 year contract. Ocwen for some reason started my loan all over at 30 years when they purchased it from HUD for 69,150.00. * months down the loan they tacked on 20,800.00 dollars and called it Other and you must know the rest of story. I just making it up right Ocwen. No I caught you stealing when you first tried to forclose and to my surprise I learned that you were truly a smooth Bank robber. The best, no question about it. You had everyone of my lawyers believing your lies. The made up foreclosure I thought for sure I could win
Wrong, I lost and paid out over 10 thousand dollars to you totals that were a lie.Anything that was over you always managed to suck up the Extra money which was more than half. From toilet paper to your answering machine Amy. You never hired any lawyers but charged for them. You already had my home transferred into other names which I have. But because I always paid you your made up amounts on the last day before the sale you had to correct it. You did this twice to me and laughing at my frustration thinking it was funny on the phone. You really thought you could get away with your scams and thefts. What a easy setup. Think about it. How easy was it to steal all the home you took Ocwen John. Like taking money from a poor soul who was helpless. No money to defend. Middleclass or Unfortunate circumstances you took full advatage of. What bothers me still is how you Planned it all out and carried it through and then split up the cash with your partners and laughed at us and our justice system.
No John from New Jersey you know everything don't you? I can always tell a Ocwen behind the lines story teller.
Will get you

ferrell balance

AUTHOR: John - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, November 30, 2005

A ferrell balance stems from a HUD program. Let me explain. HUD had a program, not sure if they still do, that would allow borrowers to make short payments for the first few years of their loan. For example, if your payment was 1000/month, but you were unable to pay it HUD would lower your payment. Dispite the lower payment your contractual due date would be rolled forward each month and you would not incur any late charges.

this sounds great, right? however, your debt was not forgiven. the difference between the $1000 and the lower payment you were able to pay for the first few years of your loan became a ferrell balance. you are obligated to pay this back.

i'm assuming if you got your mortgage through HUD they would have explained how the ferrell period works and you wouldn't be blaming ocwen for your hardships now.

also, i believe you are able to request a payment history for your account which will show you exactly how payments were applied to your account.

sincerely.

Yes, They are Theives and Scammers

AUTHOR: Jon - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, September 22, 2005

And don't fool yourself into thinking you will ever get an honest accounting of the money that they have taken. "HONESTY" Well they don't know the meaning of the word. From the very top to bottom... It's all about greed! After all they have at times... raked in nearly Six million a month just from their phony law firms $95.00 processing fees. And that's just the tip of the iceberg at the Ocwen Foreclosure Mill. But the time must be nearly up for Bill and the boys! That is if there truely is any justice left in these courts anymore. But it should have happened long ago before Ole Billy boy even stepped foot back in the US.

Good luck from "Sickened" in San Diego
