The information provided in this report is based upon comments made by Mr. John Giasullo and a member of his sales staff during an on-site inspection conducted by a third party verification company with no bias for or against Off lease Only.

Off Lease Onlys principal, Mr. Mark Fischer, has informed us that his personal philosophy is that his clients are a precious resource. As a successful businessman, Mr. Fischer feels it is critical to listen to his clients and respond properly. By always putting his customers first, Mr. Fischer hopes to maintain Off Lease Only as a successful enterprise both now and for many years to come.

Another top executive of the company told us that Mr. Fischers personal business philosophy is based on the premise that "strives to add value in its services as they understand that a successful business model is based on value-added services, and client care. Off Lease Only s mission statement says it all: "Our goal is to change forever the way cars are purchased and to protect consumers from the dealer that prey on them." Some of the other things Rip-off Report learned in the course of its investigation: typical customer feedback reads: Off Lease Only(and Mr. Fischer) truly communicate all aspects of the job in a timely and effective manner. We are very pleased with the responsiveness that he and his employees show us. They are serious about meeting commitments, and deliver on all their promises."

Off Lease Only sales team has expressed that they feel very confident doing their job. The general manager at Off Lease Only stated "I have seen Mr. Fischer take personal interest in the entire process. He looks for ways to streamline the process to cut down the time spent on the lot. He ensures selection that no dealer can match. He spends countless hours checking prices in the market to make that each customer not only gets the perfect Car but also save substantially.

OffleaseOnly is a high volume used car dealership with locations in West Palm Beach, Florida and Miami, Florida. They are a one price store, with prices posted on the windshield of each car, and on the company website. Their inventory consists of vehicles acquired through auto auctions and vehicles acquired directly from manufacturers (lease returns). The company states that they dont buy from wholesalers, or off the street, and that many cars are still under factory warranty.

Mr. John Giasullo, store Manager, says that OffleaseOnly prices its cars differently than other dealers. He notes while greed runs the entire used car business, its different at their dealership, because instead of marking the price up to see how much a buyer would be willing to pay like other dealers do, they ask themselves how low they can price the car. He states that when customers come to the dealership, it is similar to going to an auction and buying a car wholesale. OffleaseOnly states that they are selling at the wholesale level, trying to save people as much money as possible without the fluff. He said that they sell nearly one thousand cars per month (a sales rep estimated six to seven hundred). Mr. Giasullo stated that on average, the cars on their lot sell for five thousand five hundred dollars less than what other dealers charge, and they dont charge a dealers fee.

The opinion that Mr. Giasullo takes is, Never lie to a customer because it will come back and bite you. In the purchasing process everything is laid out for the customer. At OffleaseOnly, nobody sells anybody anything, he said. Their customers come to the dealership and peruse the inventory on their own, with no sales hassle. If they find something that they want, he said they assist them with their needs. Every car is sold just as you see it, at wholesale prices, almost like if you were at an auto auction. His opinion is they dont necessarily have a do whatever it takes to make the customer happy level of service. Its like the difference between going to Nordstrom or going to Walmart, because while they both sell clothes, you are going to get a different level of service at Nordstrom, he observed. Although, if any customer has an issue they can come to the dealership first they usually resolve everything. He said they detail the car ahead of time and show the customer what they are buying, and everyone is told up front that this is how the vehicle comes. Customers are given the opportunity to look at it, walk around it and see if it is something they would like to purchase before and they can even test drive the car. If the customer is in need of something different, they will provide another direction. What you see is what you get, he said, adding that its all in their literature, in all of their presentation from the beginning. Sometimes, he says, people just don't know what to do when something happens, and it's easy to believe that they didn't get a good deal or they didn't get a good car. It's sometimes easier to complain rather than to come in and get an education as to what might help them out of their predicament. Mr. Giasullo said that communication sometimes needs to be a little bit more clear, they are working on communication between their employees and their customers. The company is working to make sure their customers eyes are wide open and there should be no issues.

A member of OffleaseOnlys sales staff reported that he strives to always be kind and courteous to the customer, putting the customer number one. He stated that the companys claim that it makes full disclosure means that they pull the CarFax report up and if the vehicle has been involved in an accident, or not, he provides that information to each and every one of his customers, along with showing them the report. He tells the customer if there is any way that he can help just call his cell phone number to contact him at any time. After each sale they follow up with a call to the customer to make sure that everything is okay with the vehicle and to see if there is anything else they can do for the customer. He stated that he has never had anyone that was dissatisfied. If there was an unhappy customer he said he would refer them to Mr. Giasullo. Generally sales representatives do not get involved in customer complaints. If a customer has complaint they should work through management. At the time of inspection, the sales representative was not aware of any complaints made to the Ripoff Report. In this representatives opinion, they do everything in a proper manner for selling cars and it appears many of their customers are very happy.

Regarding customer complaints on the Ripoff Report about OffleaseOnly misrepresenting a vehicles accident history, Mr. Giasullo responded that in every situation the vehicle was not misrepresented to the customer. He said that OffLeaseOnly is the only car dealership in the state that would put accident disclosure information (when they are aware of it) in multiple locations, on the comment section about the vehicle, in the customers buyers guide. This information is still provided when a car has a clean CarFax report. He stated that he has been doing this for thirty years, and that other dealers at the most disclose what a third party like CarFax reports (which can be incomplete) to determine whether the vehicle has actually been involved in an accident. He said OffleaseOnly shows the customer the CarFax report whether it reports an accident or not, while not all other dealers do. He said their dealership is the only one that over-discloses and goes above and beyond what is required in situations like that. The company believes they do not misrepresent anything; they actually set the standard of what car dealerships all over the state of Florida should do. They buy directly from reputable manufactures and the auto auctions themselves because thats where the cars get inspected. Regarding cars purchased at auction, OffleaseOnly brings them in, looks for any type of deficiencies, and then they get them prepared for retail. When someone just turned in their lease return, he said they buy it then turn around and sell it at close to auction price.

OffleaseOnly states it is a part of the Ripoff Report Corporate Advocacy Business Remediation and Customer Satisfaction Program because they love what Ripoff Reports does--shining a light where theres a lack of effort, or where something inappropriate is going on. They feel that the used car sales business needs more of what the Ripoff Report provides. The used car sales business is a business that is heavily regulated, but people still dont get the treatment they deserve throughout the entire process. People still get mislead every single day about automobiles, so if somebody could shine a light on that it levels the playing field, he observed. Mr. Giasullo, When you look at 43,000 cars sold and the very limited amount of complaints this dealership has had, their track record speaks for itself. If a customer has an issue, I would prefer that they come to them first so they can resolve things. If the customer goes to the Better Business Bureau or the DMV it doesnt really help them get their issue resolved. They only way to resolve it would be to talk to someone in authority at OffleaseOnly.

Off Lease Only takes employee satisfaction seriously as well. Employee feedback and surveys reveal comments such as this: "Off Lease Only provides a very positive environment to work. Opportunities for suggestions and improvements are encouraged. Management is truly concerned about our contribution to the company and providing growth opportunities for us. They take the time to listen and communicate with employees and customers." Rip-off Report was pleased to learn that Off Lease Only s past and current approach to business is focused on its pledge to total commitment towards client and employee satisfaction.

Off Lease Only Inc  scam, chassis damage palm springs, Florida

bought my first dealership car from this dealer. An 06 ford mustang v6, which I was told was in perfect shape and a supposedly clean carfax. A year down the line I was looking to trade in at another dealer only to find out (from an autocheck) that my car was t-boned on the passenger side at one point and had severe chassis damage. Also they noted the very very suttle differences in paint and the lack of alot of factory stickers on the doors, also many missing screws on fenders and such. I went back to offleaseonly only to be shrugged off and told that they had no way of knowing it was previously crashed and that it didnt matter anyway because I signed an arbitration agreement. Damage Resulting = The car is in good shape, but only worth a third of what I paid (Paid $13k for it, and its worth maybe $3.5k if that). If I go to the bank and try to get a loan for something, the car is worthless as collateral and I cant sell it because of the history.

And was basically told "Sucks for you".  

Too bad you say all kinds of warm and fuzzy crap but in the real world, you couldn't care less, you already have the OP's money

Too bad the OP didn't do due diligence and get an inspection or look for tell-tale signs of a body repair  i.e. fender bolts with wrench marks, mismatched paint, body panels not lining up perfect, etc

I was lucky enought to learn about Autocheck before i went to offlease. I was getting ready to purchase a 2011  Toyota Sienna  that disclosed 1 acident by their website and had a clean carfax.. The manager gave some crap saying that the car was still under warranty and that was problem just  a minor acident . My husband was  mad at me saying that was beeing dificult . We came home and i purchase  the autocheck. The car had been in 3 acidents and on of them being major.The car was clean by carfax and desqualified by autocheck!   Carfax does not disclose all acidents!

My name is John Giasullo. I am the General Manager of Off Lease Only. I have been in the car business for over 27 years and this is easily the most reputable store I have ever seen or worked with. Noone reading this has ever LET ME REPEAT has ever seen a store that offers accident disclosures on the vehicles, on their website, or on the free Carfax reports. We challenge dealers to do the same. We are advocates for the consumer. We offer them our cars at true wholesale pricing without the greed that plagues the auto industry. Are the cars perfect.....NO. They are previously used. They are all safe. Each of our 500+ customers per month go onto our lot and choose their own car. Nobody sells them this one or that one. They go out to our 650 car inventory and choose for themselves which car fits their needs and their budget. We sell perfect low mileage cars as well as high mileage units with previous accident disclosures. Customers gravitate to the cars that fit their needs. They see the accident disclosures. They are allow to have the vehicle privately inspected prior to purchasing. They are all encouraged to take advantage of the low pricing and add an extended warranty to protect themselves. When there is a problem after the sale we have service partners that will bend over backwards to help a customer in their time of need and hope to win them over as future loyal service customers. There is a catch however....to take advantage of this ....you will need to speak to myself or one of the other managers at the store so that we are aware of the problem....then we are able to help. If you choose not to discuss your service issue with us and opt to complain.....I don't know .....on some random website....then my guess is that you are not looking for a solution.....you are loking for attention. We have over 25000 satisfied customers. We are an A rated company with a distinguished record of doing right by customers. We are the only full disclosure dealer I know of. Myself and my sales managers are available 7 days a week ....just call and watch the problems dissapear.....along with the stress.
