Office Depot Next Day delivery a fraud Meridian, MS Mississippi

I placed my first online order for delivery on your site last Thursday, and if this is standard practice, it will be my last. I will admit I needed to call and have the order changed which I did immediately after it was placed and spoke with a wonderful young woman named Brianna, who assured me I would receive my items on Friday April 20th by 5PM. The Website says they were delivered Friday April 20, 2007. They were delivered to UPS that day, NOT me. I do not care when you ship them I care when they are delivered. After calling and being informed the supervisor in the call center did not have time to speak with me so they would transfer me to another call center, I was still unable to speak to a supervisor. I had to have these Items by Sunday night so I ordered them for in store pick up in the Meridian MS OFFICE DEPOT on Saturday.

I was assured they would be ready within 4 hours for an employee to pick up since I was still out of the area. An employee drove the 43 miles to pick up the supplies and was told they were not ready come back on Sunday. On Sunday, an employee called and was told there was not an order to be picked up. When I called and spoke to the store manager, I was told, "we were busy yesterday, and I guess we didn't see it, but we'll get it ready for you to pick up in an hour or so." When the Employee drove back out to the store, he was told again, there was nothing for him to pick up. After demanding to speak to the store manager he was told we have it, it' right here. In addition, the supplies were finally picked up.

If this is standard procedure for orders, Office Max will be receiving the rest of my business. It was a simple order. Why do you have a statement on your website saying packages will be delivered the next day if that is simply when you ship them? Why was it so difficult to pick up the in store pick up?
