I recently saw alot of negative review about officetronics selling refurbished goods as new. I have purchased from them in the past and after running the serial numbers as many have to check there product condition my L7580 was refurbished from HP as informed me. I purchased this unit as a new Printer and was sold a refurbished.

To further investigate this I went ahead and went on there LIVE Chat where you can speak to a rep online so I could document our conversation. Below is a copy of the conversation. After I was told the unit I was looking at was new I confirmed with her is the unit instock. She told me it was sitting in there warehouse now. I asked if you could provide me serial number and thats when the conversation started going south. They started telling me they dont record serial numbers and that she doesn't have access to that now and making up excuses.

What electronics company sales products and doesn't record serial numbers? I think that is illegal by not providing customers with serial numbers or documenting them. I asked if I would be provided a serial number for the product I purchased and was told I would not be. As you can see Officetronics is a total scam and I will report them to the Attorney General and FTC and everyone that deals with internet fraud. The conversation below is a clear indication of fraud going on at Officetronics.

If you dont believe what I say call them yourself or go on there live chat. Last time I checked after this conversation with the company they removed there Live Chat option. WOW I can't believe a Company like Officetronics could be in business so long running this kind of scam. I will post this to many sites so consumers are not defrauded!
