July 27th 2004 my niece was born and tested postive for methamphetamines. My mother and I were there when CPS came in and told my sister. Both of us let it be known that we would take Fayth, the baby.

Both of us were interviewed by Jolynn Ball, who informed each of us that she was raised by her grandmother instead of her mother and she was unhappy.

After this interview we met with Ann Middleton, whose daughter had died due to drug overdose, she informed me that I could only hurt my mothers chances due to the fact that I had had a drug conviction in 1998 for possession of marijuana with intent to sell.

At this time I agreed to step back and let my mother go for guardianship of my niece. For almost three years I have stayed away in the hopes that it would help my mother get her granddaughter. I thought that was the law, if there was a blood relative willing and able to take care of the child then it should have been done.
I haven't seen my niece since the day she was born. My mother has passed a home study, she resides in Texas. She has done everything they have asked of her and still my niece is living with strangers.

My mother and my nephew, Fayth's brother, have been visiting Fayth when CPS would allow. My mother sent an email to the Governor of Oklahoma and immediately her visits were terminated by CPS.

Why? No one can answer that. She drives 3 hours for court only to be told she isn't on the dockett. Why? Again, no answer. My mother, my nephew, and my new niece are all suffering and no one seems to be able to help including the lawyer she has been paying for two years. Something needs to be done about this ring of "legal" kidnappers. My mother has been raising my nephew and he is healthy, makes good grades, and participates in sports. She would do the same great job with Fayth. She raised 5 of her own and knows what to do. She is financially able to handle two kids. She is stable. There is no excuse for her not to already have this baby. It is starting to look as if she will spend her 3rd birthday without her family as well. If anyone can help......
