Why do I feel I'm just bending over for these insurance companies with their political cronies. I bought my house 5 years ago through countrywide  with mortage payments of an afforadable 650.00 mo. bank of america takes over and in less than 3 years has increased my mortage to an unaffordable 850.00 mo. with a decress of value of 11,000.00 from 2009 to 2010 any refunds are not showing in a decrese of mortage payments. my homeowners insurance coverage was 795.00 a year when I purchased and immediately after BAC took over it doubled to almost 1500.00 a year. my mortage increased 3 times since then. The explanation from the ins co is I have to pay for the money they paid out to others. My answer to that is why is the commissioner allowing such a rip off to people that have made no claims. Why aren't the ins co's told to cut back like we had to do? Make less money for more work as the rest of the companies did to its emaployees. Get rid of race cars, race boats, sponsorships and cut THEIR salaries until they recover from the pay outs! I don't like theives and robbers and this is legal theft of which there is way too much. the Insurance Commissioner is elected to PROTECT citizens from unfair practices not assist them. BAC is paying the inflated insurance and making the loan percentage rate on top. They must have a deal going to make that extra inflated money, (used to be called 'juicing'). Because of these practices and a Commissioner that will not say no to them, My loan is underwater and the home is too devalued to sell. This is most likely the reason for so many foreclosures, yet no politicians will stop these outrageous practices. In my book, if an elected official takes a job to protect the citizens and doesn't do the job right, they need to be fired like any other wothout notice or appeals. Put in another left from the elections, if they don't do the job, fire them! Just like a job you or I would be! We need to make "United We Stand" a Declaration and not just words, but words of action against such legal criminals! My Dad owns a house more valuable than mine and has it for over 15 yrs. his payments are 550.00 mo and have NEVER moved. Though HIS mortage is through Chase! What's wrong with that picture?
