OldCellPhone.com DOES NOT PAY for the phones they accept! Port St. Lucie Florida

I contacted OldCellPhone.com in July, asking them about their company. They mailed me a postage-paid box and I sent them my old cell phone on 8/1/04.

I received an email from them saying they had received it on 8/20/04.

On 10/5/04 I emailed them and asked where my check was. One of their employees, Jocelyn Sanchez, responded quickly, saying that the hurricane had caused them to be behind on their payments, but that my check had already been mailed that week.

On 10/20/04 I emailed them again asking about the check they "mailed" two weeks before. No response this time, so I am making complaints to the BBB and also this site.

Obviously it doesn't take two weeks for a check to arrive in the mail. They say on their website that they send out checks within one month of receiving the phone....it's been two months and no check. Even giving extra time due to the hurricanes, it's been almost three months since I mailed them my phone.

My phone was old, so I was only expecting a few dollars for it. It's hardly worth all this time reporting them, but it's the principle that they lie and steal! Steer clear of this company!
