Oldsmobile Corporation 1999 olds Alero are death traps Glens Falls new york

we had a 1999 olds Alero, it was in excellent shape, sharp looking car. my 19 year old daughter was driving on an interstate doing 65mph, when the back end of the car let loose, sending her across lanes of traffic across, the meadian and into the oncoming lanes of traffic.

the car was totalled, the reason for the crash was noted as a mechanical problem, the rear hub assembly broke in half. this part is made of cast aluminum which should not break in half under normal driving conditions.
we called oldsmobile and was told that the car was old, (it is 6 years old), that they did nothing wrong when making the car, ( my husband works with steel, and it is noted everywear that you do not put cast aluminum and steel together because they oxidize. the part was held together with a steel bracket. ) well olds will not do anything about this. i feel that they manufactured a death trap. a six year old car should hold up and be a safe ride.
