I purchased a 56k v.90 modem at Staples in April or May of 2001. I was supposed to get a 29.99 rebate which I sent in for but never received.

To top it off, the modem didn't work the first time I tried it! Staples won't help since I got it FREE, with the rebate I never received.

The company, Prime peripherals is apparantly out of business as their web site is gone and their 800 number has been disconnected.
