OLYMPUS MARKETING GROUP - SHININGTREE PROMOTIONS DO NOT TRUST THEM, was lied to, had to lie to make money, 100% commisions based, unprofessional, basically a pyramid scheme Pickering Ontario

If only I had heard of ripoffreport.com and saw the other reports on this company BEFORE I started work there. I knew something was fishy right from the start and I should have just listened to my gut.
These people who had no post secondary education were telling me that I could be making $75,000 to $100,000 in 6 to 8 months (just like them!). Of course that was intriguing to me, who doesn't want to make money? So when I asked how much I would be making initially, I was told $350 to $500 per week. That seemed o.k. to me, even though it was a very long commute for me to get to Pickering. I thought that if I could make closer to the $500 per week, I would be good (as far as paying for transportation, bills, etc).
BUT... After I accepted the job offer, I finally figured out that it is 100% commissions based! I decided to have a go at it anyways, just because I was told how much I would make per week. Well, needless to say, THEY LIED.
I ended up only working there for 3 weeks before I had to get a friend to pay my cellphone bill for me. In three weeks I made LESS THAN $200. I was spending more to take the GO Train there and back everyday than I was making.
I think the reason I didn't clue in sooner was because I was pretty much brainwashed... After traveling for 6 hours everyday (there and back) then working for ten hours while I was there, I barely had time to sleep. Also, you are expected to work 6 days per week. So, the only day I had off was Sunday. After sleeping in till noon one Sunday, I finally felt like myself again and I said to myself "What the hell are you doing?!"
So, obviously I quit.
Whatever you do, please don't work for this company. It's not worth it and it makes you feel like the biggest sucker in the world. Don't even go on the interview! Don't even apply!
