Call DMV Safety inspection or go to Small Claims court

In NY even with Dealer Sales Used autos , if you find questionable defects in safety issues call NY DMV's safety inspection hotline and talk to someone about to see if the issues fall under safety defects and file a complaint . If a complaint is filed you will be notified of a hearing date -show up with your proofs of defects ( repair receipts or estimates ) . DMV can fine the Dealer and order the dealer to pay for any safety defects that were present during the sale.
Another option is to get free esttimates or pd. for and file a small claims action in court.Again bring your proofs. The sooner the better as you have to show safety issues were present at time of sale.
You don't mention a warranty. If over 100,000 miles it's an "as-is" sale unless otherwise wriiten for a period of time.
Check to see if you have a warranty if under 1000,000 miles , you should have one.

One of the things you learn is that everybody is not going to be happy with a company. My experience with OMG was the opposite. I had brought a custom computer with Windows 7 supposely tweaked for perfomance. Well I had nothing but problems with the software. I brought numerous applications that were supposed to fixed the problem including Reservo.com application. Now I had a problem with installationof Reservo software and an option via chat was a tech to help you. After an hour and half with trying to install the program with out sucess, he referred me to an advance tech and guaranteed for a price a hassle free fix. I did buy the product and after 6 hours the suppose tech trying to fix the computer to a total crashed. I got disconnected and it said I totally revoked all pernmission to work on my computer. I called the number provided and found out that who ever I was handed off was not the company for the number. The number I called turn out to be It turn out to be OMGtech company. I noted that the annoymous people never posted the money I provided with my credit card. I called my bank and change every password for security reasons. OMG felt there was asecurity breach since it was supose to be handed off to them under contract by Reservo.com. Now as part of thier service they follow through on everything they said. Independently, I checked for any malware, Trojans and unwanted program. My Win 7 was absolutely clean. So kudos for OMG. Now for Reservo.com. my suspicion is that they have several vendors and possibly OMG is not aware that Reservo has numerous vendors since I spoke with another vendor who had no idea who I was. He clearly explained that there were tther vendors. So the tech from Reservo.com could had done his job or he got a kickback from sending me to a vendor that might not be officially listed with Reservo.com. The vendor was from overseas and there was no evidence that they try to hijack my computer but real evidence of incompetent technicians.
Now I have 100 percent satisfaction with OMGhelp but clearly I can not speak for the complaint on this post. Yes they charge for their services after all they are a business and they need to get paid. Is it a fair price, go to best buy and see what they charge for their services. Im my opinion, I would prefer to buy a contract from Square one than from Bestbuy although I shop there frequently. Bestbuy clearly is a legimate company and well known However, I have friends who complained about their expensive service and will never again buy a service contratc from them.My experience with OMG was that they were professional. They did exactly what they set out to do. Price fairness depends on the consumers point of view and experience with the vendor. What I see here is consumer dissatifaction with a product and not an scam or rip off which this is a site you suppose to report thoose things.
