Omni Financial Omni Consumer Tax Mis reprsent themselves as lawyers, kept asking for $$ and did nothing to help my tax situation Vero Beach, Florida

I was led to terminated my agreement because Omni has never resolved, nor eliminated any of my tax liabilities and were not engaged with the IRS, other than submitting a Declaration of Representation (Power of Attorney), Form 2848, and waiting for the IRS to contact them.  I acknowledge that Omni Financial did prepare and submit a, and Request for Appeals Review, Form 12203, which is a one (1) page form requesting the IRS review their procedures for assessing 2008 & 2009 tax liabilities without reviewing my tax information for those years. 

So filing the Request for Appeals Review, Form 12203, was just a stalling tactic, not a resolution tactic.  The stalling tactic was to ask me for more $$.

Despite Omni working on my case since 2008, none of my tax liabilities were ever resolved, or eliminated as promised by Omni when I entered into our agreement.  I was told that the continuing calls for additional money over the years were to continue having a licensed attorney and para-legal working on my case as Omni was close to resolving my liabilities with the IRS, and if I didnt continue to pay Omni I would be dropped as a client. 

Turns out, Omnis working on my case consisted of monthly phone calls to request the same information and documents over, and over, and over again.  Even though the IRS never requested the documents Omni kept requesting.  I have since discovered that the associate assigned to work on my case, is not, and has never been a licensed attorney, nor has any experience with tax preparation, but in fact has a criminal record of illegal drug trafficking/activities

I am very disappointed in how their employee misrepresented themselves, and how as a whole Omni has misrepresented itself as able to eliminate my tax liabilities.  Omni never sent any
statements, or record of account, nor invoices, nor charges as to what they were doing on my account - so I asked for my money back, and they have been giving me the run-around since December of 2011.

They are currently being investigated by the Florida Attorney Generals office.

I hope I get my money back before they go out of business.
