OMNIPRESENT MAGAZINE TAMPA Misrepresented themselves to steal money fraudulently from me. Ripoff Tampa Florida

I received a soliciting phone call from this company to enter a sweepstakes. I agreed to the sweepstakes, to win a large amount of money and they told me if I wanted to enter I needed to sign up for a magazine drive, where I would get three magazinne free if I paid for one,with what I thought were low and reasonable prices. They also offered to send an expensive watch as well. I received a follow-up phone call from a supervisor, who proceeded to collect info from me. As soon as I gave them a credit card number, they told me a much higher price for the magazines than I had agreed to. I said I would not pay that amount and he said that I would be able to pay the lower amount I just had to sign the paperwork as order confermation that they would send.

I then, in the same phone call,told them that had changed my mind. They told me that they placed the order and could not cancel it. I reiterated that I did NOT want the magazines and they told me that there was nothing they could do.

After that phone call they continued to call, several days and aleast four of five times a day. It was on my cell, and I tired to have the number blocked, but I was unable to my only option was to change my number. One night they called while my husband was home and lets just say he was very rude and they haven't called back.

But they did charge my bank account over 65 dollars. When I saw the charges I called my bank and they told me to file fraud charges through then which I am doing also cancelled the card they had information on and will be changing the bank account as soon as I have a chance.

They haven't sent any magazines and the one letter they did send I sent back. I haven't heard anything new from the company yet, but I'm sure that when they find that they wont be able to get anymore money from me Im sure I will hear all about it from then with many threatining calls as well as possible mail. But they will not get any more money from me. I will fight it if they try and get leagal counsel if nessacary.
