I hired Omnitrace to help me find my birthmother.  I found out I was adopted after the death of my child.  I explained that I was griving and did not need to be taken advantage of.   Sharla from Omnitrace explained to me that they would not do that and infact would give me a dicount of $1350.00.  I needed to find my bio family I needed medical information my son died of unknown cause of death.   I would update them with any leads that I had by e-mail or would call, but it turned out that I was not getting the correct information.  After 10 months of hard work and other resources I found all of my bio family.   I called Omnitrace and then was transferd to Chris Maione, a case worker who infomed me that he had been working on my case and had a match.  I told him how could he have a match?  He didnt even have the correct name.  He then said that they would give me a partial refund and would have someone call me then next day.   The next day I get a call from some woman who said "after all the work we have done on your case, your refund is $250.00."  I yelled at her and hung up.  She then called back and said she would talk to Chris and see if she could get me more, but that I said I would be happy with whatever.  I told her after spending 1350 dollars 250 was an insult!  She called back the next day after I sent Chris Maione an e-mail explaining my disatifaction and said they would refund me $300.00.  I told her I wanted copies of all of the documentaion of the "work" that they have done.  I recived the check, we will see if I receiver the so called proof.  Do not use Omnitrace they are scammers, try a search angel or a company that charges a no finders fee.
