Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...
I have been ripped off by this company also. Promises were made but not kept. Now this website has gone ... flown the coupe' as they say.
Their promise was if you sign up to read advertisements' you'll collect points which you can redeem for prizes.
My points were collected, and redeemed May 11 2005, The company replied with a phoney tracking number (3 numbers, internal only.. not a courier company).
This company NEVER responded to ANY email requests. It took ALOT of peoples money (whether they paid for advertising or for the point rewards)

I like the rest of you feel the same and I'm glad they got shut down. Also for the one guy who has to leave his little remark all the time "did you think you were going to get a laptop for $5" dude get a life. This site is to file complaints foir a reason unless your the one who ran ezlaptop.com and took our money. Yeah it may be just $5 bucks plus another $3.95 for shipping but it's the people's hard earned money that could have went towards a meal for there child or something else positive. So either back us up or know your role and shut your mouth.Guys hopefully they'll have to give laptops to everyone they screwed.

Barry you knew it was fishy to say the least. The good part is the web site is gone now. I am not condemning you just asking why on earth do it in the first place? Greed perhaps, wanting something of vastly greater value for little or nothing?
Human Greed is the basis for many Rip Offs, search here for John Beck or the famous Nigeria scam and so many others. The get rich or get smiting for nothings are all Rip Offs and we are glad to have Rip Off Report to help get the word out. Next time you have a fiver itching to be set free send it to Rip Off Report to help others get the word out.

I knew I was taking a chance, I also know that I spend 5 bucks faster than you can blink. If some one is panhandling on the corner and I drop a fin in his cup, I can feel good about it. If some one blaintly lies to your face, then this is the LEAST I can do to keep others from waisting their money. Your attemt to make me feel guilty for a bad decision, is truly pathetic. Do a search on EZLAPTOP and you will see that others had trusted this individual as well. This website is called RIPOFF REPORT for a reason. To give a voice to those who get ripped off regardless if they deserved it or not. Lets focus on who the bad guy is.

Did you really think you were going to get a laptop for $5.00 and putting up with all the spam? Spam is less then $5.00 at the store.
YES it was a RIP OFF!
YES THEY DESERVE TO BE DRAWN AN QUARTERED.
But don't you feel you knew it was a scam when you went into it?
