I ordered a large order from these idiots. Handbags of all kinds. It took over one month to get to be, but before that I tried to cancel my order.

They said they don't cancel orders! Nothing was on their website about not canceling orders.

They kept giving me the run around about things being out of stock. But then the same day someone else from the company called and said he personally went to the stock room to fill my order.

For a large order they charged me $70.30 handling fee and $85.00 shipping fee. It only cost them $14.00 to send to me.

I wrote many emails asking about the orders and recieved no replys. Then when I called they sounded like telemarketers with rebuttal lines.

They finally sent an order worth $856.00 of garbage. The order was messed up, I recieved less bags than what was on the order, and wrong colors of some. They called me a liar saying the owner himself checked the order and I got what I ordered. NOT!!

They will not refund my money or fix the messed up order. They charge way to much for shipping and handling and are extremely rude when you complain. "They are from NEW YORK and people in Iowa don't even know about their products" They thing they are some kind of rare breed just because they are on the east coast lol.

They call and harrased me over the phone saying their policy has no refunds. Of course they would, because they know that everyone would want a refund after they mis represent their products to be "THE BEST".

They say they have a case to favor them because I ordered more than once. I only did so because I had friends want to order also that do not have access to computers. I didnt get to see what a RIP OFF the bags were before I placed other orders for my friends.

Dawn with the company things she is cool because of her accent. But rest assured, she is not. She is a member of a rip off company from hell.

Shea Fashions is not out to rip-off anyone

AUTHOR: Dawn - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, September 04, 2003

I handled the order placed by Devon aka totalhotspot.com. She placed an order with our company, received the merchandise and was apparently please with her order, because she then, placed another order with the company, which was larger than her first order. Her order was not "messed up" she received everything she ordered. Also, when it was brought to our attention that she was charged separately for shipping fee and handling fee. I did apologize for this error and I refunded her card the $70.30. This was a computer error that was not picked up by our staff or the customer until after she received the order. (Our web designers were working on the site at this time) After receiving her second order, she informed us that she was not pleased with the merchandise. I explained the return policy to her and suggested that she choose other items so that we can exchange her merchandise or she could have a website credit for future use. At that time Devon became quite verbally abusive.

I suggested that she review the policy on returns, which is clearly posted on the website. All of our policies are posted and we also have an FAQ page.

She continued with vulgarity and I discontinued the conversation. After our conversation, I viewed her website and discovered that she had pirated all of our handbag photos onto her own site and was selling these items as wholesale. I would have to doubt the creditability of someone who would pirate all of our photos and sell them as her own. If she believed our merchandise to be cheap then why would she do this?

I am one of the buyers for this company and I stand behind the fact that we search many distributors for the top quality merchandise and only carry the best out there. We do our best to fill all orders in a timely manner. We have a large following of satisfied customers. Unlike, other online companies we do allow our customers to phone us with any questions or concerns. We do encourage emails though, due to the large volume of orders, our time is sometimes limited.

I would suggest that anyone making a purchase from any online company, that they read all policies carefully before making a purchase and be an educated consumer.
