I took out a $300 loan in July, 2007, paid $625.00 and was told I still owed $360.00. I was told this by a very aggressive representative from One Click Cash.

I requested that all correspondences be done by email. I was told that the email address was oneclickcash.com. Of course, it wasn't. When I called back the representative told me that they did not have an email address or he couldn't find it.

I explained that Virginia has laws that govern amounts of finance charges. I told him that I wanted to reach a settlement on this account. He threatened legal action.

He then told me to hold, he had another incoming call. After 3 minutes, I hung up.

All I wanted was to reach a settlement that was fair to both parties. One Click Cash didn't seem interested. I feel I was bullied by the unpleasant man.

Guess what!!

All you've been paying them is INTEREST!! The original loan is auto renewing, READ THE PAPERWORK (IF you printed it off!).........you need to pay the ORIGINAL loan amount plus the interest, which is likely $360. total, and then you'll be square with them........

I looked at the website, and here is what I learned

Apparently this is a payday type loan. By that, I mean that say I borrow $300 from this site and agree to have the fees taken out of my checking account every payday. The amount they take out will only be the *loan fee* and not the actual principal of the loan (the $300). Per the website, online customers are automatically "renewed" every payday, which means you are paying nothing on the actual loan, just the loan fee every payday UNLESS you call them and request a payoff. This is intended to be a short period loan, like from one payday to the next, not a loan which you make regular monthly payments on like a car, for example. I hope that helps.
