One Hour Heating and Air One Hour Air and Heating, Sold Elderly Parents a $9000 HVAC unit they did not need Riverside, California

My elderly mother called this company out to service her perfectly running Heating/Air Conditioning unit,  from a flyer sent in the mail advertising$49.90. My parents are great about maintaining their home. So they called One hour out to service the unit. GUESS WHAT? They found all sorts of problems and scared them to death by telling them they were not safe with this unit. They told my parents, It could catch on fire at anytime and other choice scare tactics. The repair was suppose to cost $1300. First Tech called a Second Tech out to  future exaggerated the need to get a whole new system. They were pushing papers left and right into my Parents face and on the same day they had 4 Techs out ripping the old HVAC unit out (which was only 10 years old) and putting a larger unit in. Totally over selling them something they did not need to the
tune of $9,000. They had my parents signing papers for financing and they were not even aware of. One Hour, also lied to my Parents about needing to replace their electrical panel to support  their new unit, and that would cost another
$5000.  3 days later upon my finding out I called One hour heating to discuss what they did and they danced around and gave me 3 different reasons why they needed to replace the system and All three of their answers were  lies. Not one
time did they tell me the old unit was not safe. Currently we have notified the finance company, have filed complaints with BBB and the State of California Licensing Board. The City has come out to inspect the work and there are major
repairs they need to correct. Now the system they have installed is not safe.
