One Main Financial $3000 in fees Morgantown Select

My husband and I applied for a loan asking for $4500.00, by the time we walked out we were talked into a  $7000  durring the process we were offered certain insurances to protect our selves incase of loss of employment, death or dismembermentfor a few extra dollar's a month. Trying to protect our selves we agreed.  45 days later we applied for a refinance on our home and was told due to a loan for over $10,000 was placed on our credit from One Main Financial we were no longer eligable for the refinance.  When I called and questioned the company I was told therewas $3,000 applied for the Iinsurance.  This has ruined any of oyr chances for a refinance on our home. First is this truly legal and is there any action that can be taken against them for deceptive practices? HELP! !
