I am sorry to say it, but the reports are all too true about One Source Talent! I only wish I would have seen them BEFORE answering a request to interview with them in San Diego.

My story is not unlike the majority that I find here. I was told about a personal interview, but was instead led into a cattle call led by very young and unprofessional employee's of One Source Talent in San Diego. I listened to the pitch about the company and the how it has made so many people famous and rich. I listened to the well rehearsed stories and the even stayed after the finale scene where we were all told how the agency didn't need us and that we had a very slim shot at being "chosen" for representation, and that if we had any doubts about wanting success in the industry that we should leave right then. Regretfully I stayed.

These people never mentioned money, instead they coddled me and built my confidence up to the point of telling me that I didn't really need any talent, just a good personality and I had that. I was told about the relentless team that would support me and help build my career by getting me paid jobs, this went on and on.

In the interest of time, I will leave out the nitty-gritty details and just tell you that I was manipulated and conned to believe that these people liked me and wanted to be my friend and to help me succeed. I was also hit on and experienced what would be legally considered sexual harassment. I cannot tell you why I did it other than I was told I was getting services and photos and supporters and money and opportunities, and I bit. I signed over my $495+39 to this scam, and of course it all changed from that point on.

I never heard about jobs, I did not get one phone call or email from these people in two weeks. The 'back-office' site is a joke! There is very little on there that I would be qualified to do, and even fewer opportunities to get paid. Not to mention the fact that the several hundred listings that they dangle in front of you before you buy, is actually less than a hundred and they just keep repeating...sometimes 3-5 times in one days postings. This was nothing like what I was told!

I didn't get quality listings, Talent Support didn't call, and I didn't get the free photo's I was promised. I called the main office to get my money back. I tried in vain to speak with Nancy Mezni, it was to no avail. She refused to return my calls, and when I finally did speak with her a week later, she was the rudest and most arrogant peice of crap I had ever spoken to in a "Customer Service" department...that is until I eventually spoke with Katie Ludwig!!! Now this one is a peice of work! I can only immagine the ugliness that this woman is inside (and likely outside as well!) to behave the way that she did.

Katie Ludwig is a liar and a theif and refused to return my money or recognize my complaints. I was refused access to higher ups and was told she did not have time to listen to me, then she hund up. I recieved notice in the mail that my request for refund was denied and I could just feel the sadistic joy she must feel when getting away with taking advantage of another idiot! I was told I could have a free photoshoot if I wanted, but that was it! It was as if she did not hear that I was lied to and sexually harassed and uncomfortable returning to the office to deal with those people, she only heard that I did not receive a promised photo shoot. What a &^*%&!

I have not had access to the OST site since week 2, despite paying for it for a month. I have not received reponse or feedback about jobs, and needless to say there has been no support!

I tell you now, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! DO NOT PAY THEM (OR ANY ONE ELSE) MONEY UPFRONT!

I am VERY interested in filing a suit against One Source, particularly against Nancy Mezni and Katie Ludwig for, at the very least, ignoring my very real concerns for safety and service at OTC. If anyone else out there is interested in filing a suit, or has already begun one, please contact me! I don't know how contacting works on here...but if you do, find me! I have inside information about this company and its various underhanded practices as well....

PS, THE BBB is not trustworthy if they allow this company to maintain satisfactory status on their site...keep that in mind next time you look to the BBB to determine if any company is legit.

one source talent tried to scam me too!!!

AUTHOR: Desiree - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, December 13, 2008

so i have read alot of reports about this company and i must say it made me sick to my stomache. I went to an interview with them on wed they told everybody that was there that they only let you in by getting invited. I thought cool. The "director" Nate startetd talkin to everyone about their success stories like Diamond white....etc....then he went on to say that they would interview us one on one and then decide if they liked us enough we would get a second interview the next day.....well..... The girl who interviewed me(her name was hannah) said i like you so i want to set up another interview with you tomorrow. I was pretty excited about it!!!

So i went...and we talked and she said that really liked me and said she was going to talk to the"director" 3 minutes later she came back and said congratulations we want you to represent us and welcome to the one source family. i was so excited! Then she pulls out this paper askin me to sign it and that i had to pay a one time fee of $495.00 and then $39.95 monthly. I was like what the hell!!!! Well, i did not pay it! thank god i went with my instincts. I actually thought it was real but when my friend started questioning it i did too. So when i got home i did some research and i was appauled at what i found out. I just thank god i went with my intuition before givin them my money.
