One Stop Home Improvement Llc Unprofessional, Unreliable, Untrustworty. Sterling Heights, Michigan

One Stop Home Improvement claims to be the "best company in the world", a phrase relentlessly used by their employees, in my experience they are the opposite.  In my opinion One Stop's goal is to create as many low budget "repair" jobs as possible, using as few resources as possible. 

We were prepared to purchase an entire roof replacement, the shingles on the back of our house were curling. The sales representative, who claimed to be an experienced roofer, told us that they could repair our roof by replacing the bad shingles (three bundles worth) and using a proshield/granule coating. We were skeptical, but in the end he convinced us that we did not need an entire roof replacement, that we could save thousands of dollars. He promised us that our roof would look almost brand new.

The roofing crew showed up six hours late, they were at our house for less than two hours, and they did not replace any of the bad shingles. Instead they nailed some of the curling shingles down and applied the prosheild/granule coating. Our roof looked worse than it had before they arrived. They tried to charge us $1200, which included the shingles they didn't use. 

We contacted the manager immedietely, he promised to be at our house the next day to "make things right". We waited for him all day,  he never showed up,  he avoided our phone calls. When we finally spoke with him, two days later, he made several excuses for himself, and promised to be @ our house the next morning. Again, he never showed up and avoided our phone calls.

A week after the crew had been out, the manager was still a no show. We were highly irritated, and asked for a refund. The job we signed the contract for was not done,  we no longer felt we could trust them to "make things right".  The manager told us the only way he could refund our money was if we had them do the entire roof replacement. When we told him we could no longer trust One Stop, he became very rude/condesending, using the contract we signed to threaten us with a law suit. He kept interupting us with "One Stop" Phrases/excuses.

Every One stop employee we spoke with, even the owner, had the same attitude and used the same scripted phrases. They refused to take responsibilty for the problem, and claimed to "stand by their work", without actually seeing the work that had been done.
