One Stop Knife Shop Kevin Shlawsberg (sp?)/Schlausberg (sp?) Bogus Company! I placed an order totalling close to $200. I have received nothing. I've faxed, called, tracked package - nothing! Internet

On Dec. 9, 2009, I placed an online order with One Stop Knife Shop totalling $187.99.  I received an e-mail confirmation on my order saying the item was back-ordered.  My credit card was charged. 


Today is Jan. 22, 2010.  I have not received my order.


I have tried to communicate with One Stop Knife Shop and have gotten NOTHING!  I have faxed queries & order cancellations - no response.  I have e-mailed - no response.  I have called numerous times, pressing all number options - no response.   The only name on a recording is "Kevin Schlausber" (sp?) whom I tried to page - no response.  I have had no communications from this company other than a series of recordings on their phone that pass you on from one option to the next.


I have paid $187.99 for nothing.  This was to be a Christmas present for my son and I thought I'd splurge.  This gift was not under the tree on Christmas. 


It seems there is nothing I can do that will bring this money back to me.

Jacquelyn David placed an order for a discontinued product, one Benchmade Model 42 Balisong on 9-Dec-2009.  The order was processed on 10-DEC and she was notified that the item was out of stock at that time.

 

We never charge a customer's credit card unless an item is in stock, and ready for immediate shipment.  We also provide a toll free number, 866-289-1757 for customers to check stock availability for any items prior to ordering.  Ms David's card was never charged, hence her claims of fraudulent payment are outright false.

 

I appreciate her disappointment that the item she ordered was unavailable for Christmas; I too would have preferred she receive her product in a timely manner. Unfortunately, Benchmade ceased production of this item in the months prior to the holiday season and it was no longer available in supply channels, something entirely out of our control.

 

We are open from 10AM-6PM EST M-F, with multiple customer service personnel available during these hours.  We are also open 12-4 on Saturdays. We also have a fax number, 502-671-5560, where faxed items are received.  I understand Ms. David's consternation, however, we're available and were open for business during time she claim's she called.


Regardless, Ms. David's card was never charged. No money was taken from her account. It's against our core beliefs: No money changes hands until the product is ready to ship.

 

If she does believe her card was charged, we invite her to provide a transaction number & date / time of charging.  If she cannot provide this, her claims are without merit.
