I ordered medicine from this "pharmacy" which only accepts VISA and e-gold. They e-mailed me back the next day saying that I needed to call the credit card company to authorize the transaction, because the charge would not go thru. They also asked me to verify my credit card information and SENT ALL OF MY CREDIT CARD INFO TO ME IN AN EMAIL!!! They even included the expiry date and security code.

That set off a red flag, needless to say. When I called VISA, they said that there was no record of anyone attempting to run the card.

I sent rx-pharmacy.cc another email (because they conveniently DON'T HAVE A PHONE NUMBER LISTED) telling them that I had made arrangements with VISA to immediately have the charge removed if this was a fake pharmacy and I didn't get what I ordered. When I told rx-pharmacy.cc this, I did not get another email response. Now I'm just waiting for the identity theft fun to kick in.

This "company" has a few other names too, so watch out. I'll keep everyone posted and update if I turn out to be wrong.

What a great site this RIP-OFF REPORT is. It's been a long time coming!

Don't assume templates mean your dealing with the same company

Also remember many companies do not develop their own sites. So just because the look and feel ( templating system ) is the same does not mean the companies are in anyway connected ( this is especially true with online gambling )

.cc is a country code tld -- which is to say that "cc" is the top level country code designated for the ( in this case ) Cocos (Keeling) Islands:

http://www.iana.org/domains/root/db/cc.html

However, anyone can buy a 'cc' domain and you certainly don't have to host the site on a machine sitting somewhere in the Indian Ocean -- also the database of registered names is now maintained by verisign ( who manage .com, .net etc... ) and various registrars sell 'cc' domains -- register.com, tucows, www.enom.cc ( which happens to be based in Washington state ) etc...

Now if you ping the various addresses you get a numerical ip address and with that you can find the geographical location of the machine. This is where things get interesting.

Lets start with online-pharmacy.cc --

C:\Windows\System32>ping online-pharmacy.cc

Pinging online-pharmacy.cc [124.217.231.126] with 32 bytes of data:

Reply from 124.217.231.126: bytes=32 time=363ms TTL=40
Reply from 124.217.231.126: bytes=32 time=359ms TTL=40
Reply from 124.217.231.126: bytes=32 time=360ms TTL=40
Reply from 124.217.231.126: bytes=32 time=368ms TTL=40

Since I don't feel like shelling out $49 dollars. I'll just go to ip2location website and find out where this machine etc...

IP Address Country Region City
124.217.231.126 MALAYSIA WILAYAH
PERSEKUTUAN KUALA LUMPUR

Net Speed ISP Domain
- PIRADIUS NET 247LIVESUPPORT.BIZ

( piradius is a Maylaysian isp and 247livesupport.biz is also in Malaysia with the same isp )

Now for rx-pharmacy.cc

Pinging rx-pharmacy.cc [208.43.130.19] with 32 bytes of data:

Reply from 208.43.130.19: bytes=32 time=97ms TTL=47
Reply from 208.43.130.19: bytes=32 time=97ms TTL=47
Reply from 208.43.130.19: bytes=32 time=97ms TTL=47
Reply from 208.43.130.19: bytes=32 time=101ms TTL=47

( You can see right away its a different address space )

And here it is:

IP Address Country Region City
208.43.130.19 UNITED STATES OKLAHOMA OKLAHOMA CITY

Net Speed ISP Domain
COMP ZIPSERVERS INC SOFTLAYER.COM
( zipservers is an OK based service provider and softlayer.com happens to be in Queens new york city )

Finally, you'll notice the product base is quite different -- no controlled substances on rx-pharmacy. Verdict, it is unlikely that you are dealing with the same vendor proper. The only connection is that both are selling products from Argentina and both bought their domain name from Tucows.

Online-pharmacy.cc is a year older. Since you had bad luck with rx-pharmacy why don't you just use online-pharmacy.

sounds like you had a bad experience

The site is not a 'rip off' -- don't know why you got such flaky service. I ordered several times from them. Never took more than a week or so. All of the medicine comes from argentina -- but what you see is what you get. The images are the exact packaging and pharmacy that they claim to be, and exactly what you get in the mail. If you want to pay extra for Roche ( valium or xanax for example ) you get the brand name. I, however, did not find this necessary. Gador introuduced a generic version of xanax - xr, before it was available in the states. Later when the affordable ( somewhat) alprazolam - cr came along -- I had my doctor prescribe it and if anything found it to be inferior.

Also I had part of one order seized by US customs. The company re-shipped the medicine promptly.

Furthermore customer service was good -- always responding to emails within 24 hours.

I never had any trouble with using my visa. Transactions are encrypted with a valid certificate.

Sounds like you had a bad experience; but I can't imagine it being the norm.
