I bought a Barebones system from TigerDirect on of July 28, 2006. Delivery was prompt and I submitted the paperwork for rebates totaling $230 on July 29, 2006. All the rebates were accepted on August 21, 2006. A seventh rebate for $20 for an EVGA GeForce video card I purchased later was submitted on August 29, 2006, and accepted on September 7, 2006. The on-line status shows a check has not been issued for any of the seven rebates.

I have called the status line which confirms these dates as the last date with activity but no new or additional information. According to the OnRebate on-line status, all seven rebates have "Been Accepted" but have an "X" next to "Payment Sent". The rebate offer said the rebate would require 10 - 12 weeks but did not specify from what date. So far, it has been 15 weeks from the date of acceptance and over 18 weeks since I submitted them! I have sent 3 e-mails to support@help.onrebate.com but I have not received a reply. The customer service line is automated with no option to speak with a representative. Today I called TigerDirect to see if they could help or had a way to contact OnRebate but was told I would have to contact them directly and was given the customer service number.

To my knowledge and according to the information I can find I have complied with all the requirements of the rebate offer (as they have all been accepted) but have not received any checks or information. I searched on the interned for OnRebate and found that they have a pattern of very poor service. With the amount of traffic on this site and number of bad experiences, I'm surprised the FL BBB hasn't referred this to the Florida AGs office to investigate. I encourage everyone to contact the FL BBB so they can establish a record of the problems.
