I had two rebates. One for $40 and one for $30.

I followed all instructions to the letter. I even peeled off the serial number sticker from my memory chip, even when it said "Warranty void if removed", because I wanted to be sure to follow all instructions.
Now this step by itself is grossly unfair, why should I have to void the warranty to claim my rebate ?

Then I print out the specific label that they want stuck to the front of the envelope. I notice that for both rebates, the label is identical. So I gather the paperwork for each rebate, staple them, and put into same envelope and mail off.

I get an email back saying that they denied rebate because there were two in the same envelope. What a load of crap. There is no possible way that 2 rebates in 1 envelope will cause them any inconvenience when processing them. This is a frivolous rule that they use so that they can steal your money.

They refused to discuss my claim and simply threw out my complaints.

They made a big mistake here, I am one crazy m%$##$%# and I will not let them win this one. Even if I have to spend a thousand dollars to harrass them into honoring their obligations, they will pay me my $30.

Steer clear of these scumbags, and their partner in crime, Tigerdirect.

ONE PISSED OFF CUSTOMER WHO WILL NEVER COME BACK.

Thankyou OnRebate [Nadina], I appreciate the effort made to make things right. I retract all the nasty things I said.

And thankyou RipOffReport. I have no doubt that airing my complaint publicly in this forum was a key instrument in getting satisfaction.
