Found out today that OnStar was taking 31 dollars per month from my account without my approval. I had talked with the marketer when first started using service and told them to put on my notes "do not withdraw from my account per month". I told them in no uncertain terms never do a monthly pymt on my card. Of course months later to find out they did this anyway. Not only that at a higher level of protection than ever had.

Called and asked for refund or some type of compensation and long story short and 45 min later told to bad. Said I had used the service. Talked to 3 supervisors and the last one Mr. Robsin was very short and curt and basically said it is what it is. I asked for his boss and he said he was it and his boss didn't talk to customers. So asked for phone number to headquarters and he refused. I asked why wasn't my verbal agreement with the first agent upheld about not doing the monthly withdraw and he said I never called back to verify.

I just wished there was a person at headquarters to know how we the consumer are getting treated. Please don't ever call OnStar and leave any credit card number with them. Ask that they remove your number after you pay anything or else it will be kept on file and used.

Proof vs. Claim

AUTHOR: Tyg - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, September 11, 2013

The problem is that it was more then likely the very same people you were talking with at the storage place that ripped you off. You are going to find it VERY hard to get ANY monetary compensation from this situation. The reason is you have no proof of your items being stolen. They ONLY have your word that something was stolen. It VERY common to have ppl use a storage site and then break into thier own storage and claim someone robbed them. This is what you are up against.

My suggestion is contact thier corporate office and tell them that you suspect the ppl who run your branch are breaking into thier own facility. This way you can have corporate come down. Contact thier District Manager, these guys have a lot of power they can use in your situation. Lastly.....RUN LIKE HELL!! Get away from these ppl. I would also suggest that the next facility you decide to go with that they have CAMERAS EVERYWHERE!! Dont let a bad experience with these shady employees ruin other opportunities.
