Ontronics Shawn Moeenuddin Sent non conforming Iphones that were still active on peoples accounts and defective Dallas Texas
Iphone product was to be A condition and clean serial numbers were delivered in nonfuctional condition and with serial numbers still active on account. We began ordering from Ontronics about 2 months ago. Our sales rep and owner Shawn Moeenuddin began sending us iphones in quantities of 50-100 per order. the first transaction went very smoothly and there were no issues at all. He insisted however that we paid via certified bank check Cash on Delivery in order to receive product. this meant that he would have his secured payment prior to us inspecting the goods and checking their quality. After the 1st shipment of 100, in which we only had problems with 2-3 phones, the quality began to deteriorate and the price went up. We asked Mr. Moeenuddin to stop sending our product certified funds which he agreed to. Howwever after 1 delivery via company check he switched us back to certified check again. We continued to order from him and though the quality of the product deteriorated slightly he had handled it in a professional manner by overnighting replacement units to us when they were bad. This continued up until 2 weeks ago.
In the past 14 days we have received 3 shipments from Mr. Moeenuddin where the product was defective. They were very easy things to spot on the devices such as broken speakers, cracked glass, no microphone, no signal, and most importantly, already active on other accounts. This means that Verizon customers who had not fulfilled their obligations still had their numbers and accounts tied to these phones making them unuseable. We brought this to Mr. Moeenuddin attention over 10 days ago when we received 11 phones out of a batch of 30 that were tied to accounts. After he assured us he would take care of it and to return them, we ordered one more time. This order was for 35 phones and we paid a large sum of money to have them overnighted. It was a very time sensitive order and we were depending on them. out of the 35 phones, 12 were active on accounts, and 8 were defective. We called Mr. Moeenuddin who claimedto be out of the country. For 3 days no one would return our calls from his office. The amount of money we were out in equipment exceeded $8400 aat this point in addition to the $300+ it took for us to ship the product to us, and back to him.
After several conversations with Mr. Moeenuddin over the last 3 days, insisting he either refund us or overnight us new conforming equipment, he chose to do nothing. It has severely impacted the relationship with our customer as I was unable to deliver our goods on time. We had returned all of the equipment in the exact same condition it was in. A refund should have been issued at that time so we could go out and use that money to buy more iphones to satisfy our customer. Mr. Moeenuddin refused this refund and today sent us no equipment. This experience has been aweful to say the least and we are still out all of the money which exceeds $9000 in total cost.
