I came across an ad in the job section of the Denver Post that read... RECEPTIONIST, Fun and fast paced enviornment, must love music and money 18-25 year old girls and guys. I was out of work so I figured I'd call. When I dialed the number, music was blaring in the backround and I thought that this was kind of odd, however, the girl told me to come in for an interview at 1:30. When I showed up there was a desk in a very unprofessional looking office with pictures of parties and other nonsense on the walls. The girl gave me a "get to know you sheet" to fill out while I waited for the gentleman to interview me. A guy named Dustin came out and took me and two other people into his "office" and asked us questions like, "What do you like to do for fun?" "What music do you like?" "How would you rate yourself on a scale of one to ten?" I thought this was odd also, what kind of questions were these in a job interview? The two other gentlemen left before me and he told them to call back to see if they got the second interview. When they left, Dustin told me he doesn't want me to call, that he liked me a lot and to show up the next day dressed sharp for the second interview. GREAT I thought... Boy, was I wrong..

I showed up the next day and was escorted into a room with 12 or so more people. There was a list of about 75 cities on the board we were told to copy. As we were copying down the cities, Chris Westphal walked in with giant holes in his ears...This guy was supposed to be "THE BOSS." He went on to tell us that we would get to chose 3 cities to open up our own office and we were guaranteed one. We would also make $52,000 a year, sounded great. But like the old saying, If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. He went on with this other short nothing named Iris FOR HOURS about how successful he is and how working for this company changed his life. We didn't get any breaks, and sat taking useless notes for what seemed like an eternity. When we were finally told to go home, we were all given a time to call back to see if we got the position. I was told to call back at 5:15... When I called, I gave the woman my name and told her I was calling to see if I got the positon. She told me with great excitement, "Congratulations, you got the position!! Please take a shot of vodka for me, tequila for Iris and water for Chris." Ooookay, I thought. I thanked her and was told to show up the next day at 8.

When I came in the next day, Chris and Iris babbled more about the company saying that a webpage called rippoffreport.com has a lot of crap on their webpage about them and to ignore it. Chris said the reports were filed from people who did not make it to the second interview...I thought that was odd and decided to hop on the page when I got home. We sat there for 6 long hours without a break and was told that this would be the hardest training to complete, and if we quit, we would just be weak pieces of sh**. We were told we would manage our own office, get around $2,000 to decorate it and even get to chose our own company name. I thought that was weird, I thought the whole company was Onyx Wholesale... Chris went on to tell us that he would give EACH of us $200 extra bucks if everyone showed up all week long, OUT OF HIS OWN POCKET... Yeah, right. We were also told there was a $1,000 competition which again, was money out of Chris'pocket..hmm... THey told us the competition was to sell the most perfumes and whoever did would win the thousand bucks. I thought that was odd. By the end of the day, I got a really bad feeling about the place and decided not to go back after reading some of the reports on here. There were way to many red flags to not bail out. It was so obvious after the first day that this was a scam. It's very unprofessional and they do a horrible job at pretending they are a legit company, its a shame so many fall into the trap.
