Option One Mortgage ripoff Option One will try to take your home! Irvine California

To all of my clients that received a mortgage loan with Option One through me...I am sooooo sorry!

As a mortgage loan officer, I spoke with my account exec at Option One and refinanced my home. Yes, like alot of my clients, we too had some credit issues (and probably for alot of the same reasons as other folks...medical, and a business partner who ripped us off of ALOT of money).

All was well until my husband lost his job last year and took a new job which unfortunately paid $35k less per year. Add a company change for me on top of that and you get the picture...$$ was very tight. It is 8/8, and I received 3 phone calls a day so far every day since the 4th for the 8/1 payment. Talk about harrassment! Once, due to an error in my checkbook, I bounced the mortgage check. They would not redeposit so I immediately sent the payment via Western Union. I thought everything was o.k...NOT. The next month I sent a check overnight to arrive on the 30th so as not to be 30 days late. On the 6th of the next month, I received my check back in the mail - unnegotiated- with a letter that said they would not longer accept my personal check. I sent a cashiers check via overnight and notified OOMC of the tracking number...next day what do I receive in the mail? You guessed it! A certified letter with a notice of intent to forclose! All for a 30 day late payment that THEY created by not accepting my check!

Someone PLEASE start a class action lawsuit against these idiots. As for me as a loan officer, I will NEVER again use OOMC for my clients. I will live with guilt of using them for the rest of my life!

(((ROR REDACTED COMPETITORS NAME))) got spanked pretty hard for predatory lending - OOMC is the next (((ROR REDACTED CPMPETITORS NAME))) - H&R Block got sued over predatory lending with tax refunds also. Hopefully they will be sued (and stopped) over their operations with OOMC.
