I recently started receiving phone calls from their 1-800-276-3220 phone number. When I called back I was told that I owed them over $20.00 for phone services. I told them that I use Vonage which is a VOIP phone service and I do not get charged any long distance charges anywhere in the U.S. or Canada.
I asked them what number was called so I could see what was going on and they said they did not know. I went online to my Vonage account which shows every single call I make and there are no calls outside the United States and none that I would be charged long distance for.
Then about a week ago I receive two bills from Optonline, AKA One Call Long Distance Service saying that I owed them money for a long distance conference call service. I have NEVER had a conference call and even if I did I do not pay any long distance charges for any calls in the U.S. or Canada! I am contacting the BBB and State Attorney General's Office in Indiana as well as the FCC. Thank you.

My daughter admitted to calling a LOCAL phone number that, according to him, had been totally free, but now charges for long distance to use the phone chat service. I decided to call the service to see if A. they stated clearly their contact information and if they had a "pin" number security measure. Instead I found that they have a "press one to accept the charges" option (according to the FTC, that is illegal) and no contact information at all. You can press 3 for more information but the name, address and contact telephone number does not exist. B. they state that the charges will be on your monthly phone bill. That is misleading because they were NOT on my phone bill. C. All charges were not itemized as to date of call, time of call, length of call and phone number called on their bill. That is also in direct violation on FTC rules.
