Mike is the owner of Orange Tech Computers and we wanted to support our local business.  Unfortunately, so did he, with suspicious activity and supposed viruses.  We had our computer worked on several times, and each time he told us we had a virus.  These viruses were horrible and only he had the knowledge to get rid of it.  He also installed an antivirus software that we needed him to update because he had it password protected. 

He insisted that we had to bring it in to have the software updated when it expired.  We took it in, and asked that only the software be updated . . we didn't want any other work done.

We called 2 hours later and told him we were going to pick up our computer and install a different antivirus software ourselves.  When we got the computer home, programs were not working correctly and we could not access any websites.  We called and asked what was going on and Mike informed us that he did a diagnostics test and we - again - had a serious virus.

We told him that it seems suspicious that the computer was working before we dropped it off, now we have all these issues.  If there were a virus, we seriously believe we would have had the issues before handing the computer over to him.    He hung up the phone, and would not answer it when we called back. 

This was the final straw.  We now believe that he is installing the supposed viruses and charging to have them removed.  Either that or he does not know what he is doing -- or maybe both.

Beware of this shop and Mike -- we do not trust him and want others to be aware of the suspicious activities with your computer if you leave it with him and out of your sight.
