Orchard Bank, HSBC HSBC incompetent service account issues never fixed leading to excessive charges Internet
There are a few issues that lead to my problems with them. When I signed up for the card some time ago the loaded me up with tons of free trail services and promotions, just like anyone else. This did not bother me as I figured I would just cancel them if I did not want them. At the time I was also glad to see the auto pay option...
So now what happens, many of the promotion trials expire and I am getting charged for them, so i decide to cancel them, I proceed with canceling them and for some reason I can not cancel all of them... you had to log into a separate account and cancel, but it never worked. HSBC was not helpful at all, even though I made it clear to them I did not want this charge anymore, and do something, block it etc...
At this point I was irked but not ready to give up...
Then one day I try to use the card and it was declined. I checked into the issue and see that the auto pay was not properly debiting my account to pay my balance, so I contacted them to have this resolved. A customer service rep assisted me with this and the issue was corrected.
Some time later the issue the exact same issue happened, I checked the account I was funding my payments with as I thought maybe there was an issue there; however, everything was fine, fully funded, etc... Everything pointed to the Orchard bank system having the issue, yet again I call and corrected the issue... and I was given a break on some of the late fees... ok
The last straw again.. it now has been quite a while. Since the last incident I stopped using the card except for emergencies. I was surprised one day to receive a call from them one day saying my account was past due. At this point in time I had not used the card for any recent purchases and had paid it off... I thought, but lo and behold there was that one promotion that was never blocked from my card as I had asked. AND the autopay stopped wrking yet again... causing me to default.
That was it the last straw. I told them how upset I was and that I was not going to be held responsible for this continuing charade. I was not going to pay for the balance for a service and definitely I was not going to pay the late fees. They were unwilling to help and told me to pay it. I basically told them where to go and I wasn't paying anything. I will fight them tooth and nail now until they either
1. Remove these charges, cancel my account and remove the negative from my credit report.
2. the company itself is exposed and collapses.
This company makes me sick.
