Responding to a add on Cars.com for a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am advertised for $2850. by Orlando Car Depot LLC, my nightmare began.

I went in one evening at approximately 5:00 pm and test drove the car.  A number of things were discovered which had to be repaired.  Those things were the ignition switch, a motor mount, and a side view mirror.  Mo agreed to repair these things if I left a deposit on the car.  He said the deposit had to be in cash only. I left the $200.00 deposit and noticed that he wrote on the receipt non-refundable.  This was after I had given him the money.

He called me the next day and let me know that the repairs had been made and the car was ready.  When I got there, I insisted on inspecting the car again to make sure the repairs had been made.  The car was not in the same condition as the day before.  The entire dashboad was hanging loose.  In order to insert the key in the ignition, I had to sqeeze my fingers together inside this gaping hole in order to start the car.  I guess when his so called on site mechanic repaired the ignition, he did not bother to put the dashboard in properly nor did he put the ignition switch cover back on.

There was approximately a 2" gap between the dashboard and the ignition not to mention that the ignition was totally exposed.  I expressed my dissatisfaction and was told by Mo that he had already spent too much money repairing things on that car for me and he was not going to repair the dashboard.  If I refused to buy the car, he would not return my $200.00 deposit.  I emailed him asking for the return of my deposit due to the fact that the vehicle was not in the same condition as when I left the deposit.  He emailed me back and said that I was threatening them and any further communication from me would be considered harassment.
