Environmental Lighting Concepts Poor Product and Poor Customer Service Tampa Florida

Ott-Lite is a line of lighting fixtures that claims to provide a level of lighting identical to natural light. The company's lamps are manufactured in Asia and sold in stores such as Office Depot.

These lamps are priced 100% to 200% above their competition. One would expect a product priced at this level to reflect a high level of quality.

Unfortunately, the switch on my lamp failed after 15 months. I called the company's customer service and sales lines and was informed that I was out of luck, because my device was past warranty and because they do not sell spare parts.

I have subsequently returned to the store and purchased a $15 desk lamp that functions just fine. If I wish to use their special Ott-Lite bulb, I can buy one, but I frankly don't see the difference between their bulb and the one that came with my $15 lamp.

My complaints: low-quality goods and worthless customer service.
