brand new 2002 malibu when i got it in 2002

AUTHOR: Barbara - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, August 06, 2006

my transmission was going bad my light kept coming on.my sterring wheel would shake when i get up to sixty miles.my car is still shaking not as bad as it was at first. i waited from june 28/2006 until july 26/2006 to get my car back my car was brand new when i bought it in 2002. i have no teenagers in my home to drive my car.that car should not have stayed in no shop that long. my car was $3529 to get out i had to pay $510.00 my fidelity warrenty did not want to pay they tryed to patch my car up at first. i had a time with ourisman and fidelity.they were suppose to balance and rotate my tires so the car would not shake. pat and lisa at ourisman chevrolet in marlow heights were the people that i delt with. i hope you understand when i first did the rip off i was angry upset and some more. i still stand on my first rip off.the way i wrote it.

It is hard to understand your problem..... because you are upset?

Yor post is hard to follow because of style, and you left out the real details (what car, how old, miles, condition, and so on- you thought of them but you did not write them). July 26 is pretty recent & you seem very upset.

You may have warped brake rotors, and rotor replacement is usually the only solution. Over tightened wheel studs are often the cause, resulting from teenaged boys being joecool with an HD impact wrench.

Side thoughts for your future
1. Car dealers make big money on used cars.... not new cars. Sometimes a private sale is better.
2. Used cars are for sale for a reason- they have become a pain in the tail and need repairs.
3. Repairs are expensive.
and
4. Maybe next time you should consider #2 and assume any used car is a disaster waiting to happen until a trusted mechanic tells you otherwise- before you buy it.

For this time- try to compose a clear description of your difficulties and maybe some of the experienced mechanics here can help.
