As part of the contract to buy our home in Smyrna, the previous owners were required to pay for a new garage door. They fufilled their obligation and had a receipt stamped paid from Overhead Services, Inc. They presented this receipt at closing as evidence at closing.

The garage door was to be installed after we moved in. We simply needed to wait for Overhead Services, Inc to receive and then install the door. This was June of 2002.

I have contacted Overhead Services, Inc over 30 times and have never even been able to speak with anyone other than the receptionist, who promises that Mike Sibley (the owner) will call me back.

I have contacted the better business bureau (worthless organization) but to no avail. I am unable to serve him a warrant for small claims court since he only has a PO box. I've been scammed!!

you know as well as i do that all you guys do is rip people off.I worked there twice and both times all i was asked to do is rip people off to(make money)...i finally quit when the fliers came from pete stating that we had to pick two things from the list and do them without the customers knowledge,and if they had a problem with it they were to call the office in(florida) and ask about it,usually ending in them getting a little kicked off the price.If your going to lie,do it for people who dont know the truth,and have not worked for these thieves before......idiot!

The owner of the company should swallow his words since he knows nothing. Everyone here who thinks BBB is useless really is mistaken. The BBB are mediators and regulate ALOT of companies and work terrebly hard to make sure consumers get enough information so they do not get ripped off. For instance if an operator reads a report for a consumer and it is a bad one they say well what do you think....Well.... the operators are FORBIDED to give their personal opinion on ANY company not just members. Member companies have to go through alot of investigation to be even eligible for membership PLUS membership is refunded to the company as quick as the money is given it will be given back. Alot of people do not understand alot of things about the BBB ( Better Business Bureau ) I could let you know one thing the BBB will be getting a copy of this "owners" behavior to the consumer today. I don't think they would like that seeming how as of now because of it he has an UNSATISFACTORY report at the BBB. Thank you and Your Welcome. Ohh and by the way "owner of PDS" you need to give up the company to someone who knows more about the business since you obviously do not plus you do not know how to treat people. Your mother I am sure would be SO proud of you seeming you use words like "s**t". I am so sure.

It has been a full year since this thing was resolved. I did recieve SOME payment for the door. $50 is what I received, for my door panel that cost over $300. I got worn out trying to get resolution, I gave up. This doesn't mean you did the right thing, please don't portray yourself as have ammended the situation.

So any one who has been following this report: Mike is going to need a few hundred shovels to dig out of his own BS. I have answered each and every e-mail this moron has sent. I tried to help this idiot and as you can see, plain and clear, all of his e-mails consisted of insults from his lack of knowledge and education. He has even said in one of his e-mails, that down south they sections are called panels, tells you he know nothing about garage doors. The fact of the matter is a panel is the small blocks found in each section of a garage door. So, I would love to be listening to a conversation between him and a manufacture where he asks for a panel.

Since he likes to spill words from his mouth his a*s cant back, let me discredit him even more. He sent an e-mail to the rip off report telling them he wants me to contact him. In this e-mail, he states, he is the owner of Precision Door Services (we all know as PDS), along with his other names, he says he tried to e-mail me but had no luck because he is not a Juno user (shows his lack of intelligence), and he claims to have been in a lawsuit with the original and legit Overhead (that never happened, I checked). This idiot continuously tries to BS everyone he comes in contact with. If you all read his e-mails, you would get the biggest laugh out of his lack of grammar and spelling, not to mention he makes no sense most of the time.

What makes me believe he hasnt sent such a thing to this customer is the fact that the customer has made it clear the previous homeowners paid to have the section or door replaced, so why would he refund their money to him? Exactly. I had even offered to help him dig himself out of the mess he is in, instead he spent his time with these type of insults. I guess he can only grew b***s when speaking to a woman and it makes him feel bigger to insult women, I bet he calls his own wife and maybe even his own mother these kind of names. Like I said, it shows his own intelligence. He also loves to keep referring to Brian Tindall, one of the owners of PDS, as BT and boasts about his relationship with him.

People, do not put your trust in people like this, this is how and why their scam has succeeded as long as it has. Well, until now that is. Maybe someday hell wake up from his little fantasyland.

As for April, I'm reminded of what Dan Ackroyd used to say to Jane Curtin,"Jane, you're an ignorant s**t". April wants me to prove a negative point that I'm not a PDS franchisee. She says she has "proof" but that's impossible. It doesn't exist. She rants and raves like an uneducated hillbilly as her emails to me clearly show and won't take no for an answer. She needs some higher education (4th grade perhaps) and even refuses to take my emails. She's really pitiful and needs Valium quite often. April says she's,"going to take all of PDS down" and that's OK with me. I'm not involved.

Anyway, Jim should be happy with his $ back, but April makes Bill Clinton look like an honest man!

"Mike", you are really making your case look bad. I find it very hard to believe that this man's phone has been disconnected and all this time he hasn't given you a different phone number. 2) He obviously has a phone or he would not be able to make this report. As for companies getting doors as "as needed", no, you may work that way as any PDS does, but that isn't the way the real world works. Most companies are in good standings with manufactures, they order numerous size, colors, styles, etc of door they put in the most. Only specific sizes, colors and styles are needing to be ordered, these are known as "special order" doors. By the way, the most time you'll have to waite for even a special order door is 3 to 4 weeks, this man is complaining from the time of June 2002. It doesn't take 9 months to get the section (not panel). You've pretty much buried yourself with your own words.

So you know, I did get your message, I will be contacting you on your BS later today, but I will spare those reading your additional bull.

Comes Now the Defendant

Jim Arduino has been half right in this report. We have not installed the panel (this was not a complete door) in his house. The reason is that he never was home when we tried to install it. His number is in the phone book, but has been DISCONNECTED! He called last SAT @ 9P.M. and would not leave a phone # for us to call him back? How can we service him when we can't contact him? We had given up on him. There's only so many times you can attempt service until you just give up. Today I wrote him a note at his house address in the Marietta phone book asking him to contact us. We're trying.

As in my earlier email to the Report, we'll be glad to install the panel if he'll just call and set up a mutually agreed upon time for both of us.

Another reason that this PANEL wasn't installed is because the manufacturer didn't have it in stock and it had to be ordered. This is not our fault that they didn't have it. Jim, I assume, thinks that every door company keeps every manf's doors in every size, color and model in stock ready for his call. It would be impossible for us or even Sanwa Shutter Co. aka The Overhead Door Co. of ___ to keep every door model in stock. We all get them from the manf. on a "as needed" basis.

Jim, give us a call and we'll install the panel for you. We're not trying to rip anyone off......especially you.
