Overstock.com Highest Price Guaranteed Did not honor lower price form competitor. Poor customer service. Internet

I am warning you not to buy from overstock.com. I just bought a JVC GPS system from them for $338 which they claimed was a great deal off the $728 MSRP. The very next day my co-workers told me how I got hosed since CompUSA had the exact same model for $179 with free shipping!!!! Feeling pretty low at this point I applied for a rebate under overstocks' best price guarantee.

Well, even though I have to admit they responded quite quickly, they did not honor the lower price. They tried to explain the reason they couldn't honor my request is becuase their policy excludes free shipping offers. I told them I don't care about the shipping I just want the price difference. All this to no avail.

They did over me a in store credit for the $104 difference they charge over the Amazon price but of course this isn't worth $104 since their prices are inflated anyways and is $54 short of the price CompUSA charges. I guess I was one of the last to learn....Overstock is not the home of best prices or best service.
