Oxford Financial Benefits Services intended ripoff Champlain New York

I had recieved a call from "OXFORD" Saying that I was approved for a credit card that i had applied for online. I dont remember doing this of course. I told them that and they said oh so you didnt do this and proceeded to tell me about that card anyway. said it would be no annual fees and 0% intrest for the first 3 yrs then 8% after that. and he went on to verify my addy and name. then told me there would be a 249.00 prossecing fee and that it would be debited out of my checking acct. I said I couldnt do it right now and how did you get my cell phone number and he couldnt answer that and I said can I do this online and he said no maam its not our policy. (funny if i applied for the card online why cant i complete the transaction online). I said i couldnt afford to do this right now and he said that they could post date the check till sept 5th. Feeling something was wrong i said no and I want this number removed from your calling list. He said ok. but the very next day i got 4 more calls from this company and today four more as well. Im glad i found this website before I got taken for 249.00 Im reporting this to warn others before it happens to them and I am filing a complaint with the fcc for phone harrasment. ty
