Pacific Medical Center Uncompassionate, unprofessional and uncaring medical staff Renton Washington

I have had Dr. Bowles as my primary care physician for over a year. He has not been in the office when appointments are pre-scheduled. He fouled up a simple medical procedure that required me to subsequently go to the Emergency Room.... Emergency Room staff confirmed that the medical procedure was botched....... They prescribed temporary anti-biotics and pain medication and told me to see a specialist the next business day.......

Instead, I returned to Dr. Bowles believing that he was competent enough to handle this apparently minor medical procedure. He WAS provided the records from the Emergency Room personnel. He elected NOT to follow their recommendation. He prescribed 30 5mg Vicodin and sent me on my way. The pain increased even with the Vicodin.......

After three days I attempted to contact Dr. Bowles via telephone pager. It took most of the day to reach him. I could tell by the tone of his voice he was pissed off that he had to call a lowly patient. He was rude, uncaring and said there was nothing more he could do. He wouldn't even refill my pain killers. He basically told me there was nothing that could be medically done to improve my condition........The last thing he said to me before he hung up on me was "It's best you find another physician"......

The next day I spent 3-4 hours trying to locate a specialist who had an appointment available as the pain I was experiencing was literally bringing me to tears.......I finally found a specialist who thankfully had a same day appointment. It took less than five minutes (no exaggeration) for the specialist to remedy my problem and send me on my way.....problem solved....I didn't even need pain meds because the problem was finally correctly addressed......I had two appointments with Dr. Bowles and an Emergency Room recommendation that this procedure be pursued.

Dr. Bowles did nothing but drug me up and refuse to do what was obviously a simple procedure..... Dr. Bowles subsequently told me that he no longer wants to be my primary care physician....Dr. Bowles and most of the staff at Pacific Medical Center has a non-caring attitude and are very arrogant. Dr. Bowles doesn't believe his patients when symptoms are explained to him and is very non-supportive.

I highly suggest that if you are considering Dr. Bowles or Pacific Medical Center for any type of medical carethat you consider other doctors who have empathy and sensitivity, even for minor medical problems....Nobody should have to see their doctor two times, go to the emergency room, see a specialist and miss a week of work simply because the primary care physician is lazy, incompetent or just doesn't give a d**n........I am not a problem patient...I don't see my doctor much and I am pleasant and upbeat whenever I have had contact with any PacMed Staff.....I didn't deserve to be treated like a problem child....I didn't deserve to have my doctor tell me to go elsewhere for medical treatment....I'm not THAT guy....I'm not the jerk who makes waves and complains a lot....I received a raw deal. There's no reason to assume you may not receive a raw deal too, even for the most trivial medical problem....
