My Visa Card was charged $49.90 on Friday, 11/30/07 and I noticed the discrepancy Saturday morning, 12/1/07.

I called my bank Monday morning, 12/3/07 and was given the phone number of the payee in this transaction, Pacific Webworks.

I called Pacific Webworks immediately and spoke with "Cashe" and informed him that this transaction was bogus and I wanted it cancelled and my money refunded. I was informed that I had, indeed, placed the order, and having not cancelled before the "trial period" ended, the fee was non-refundable.

I informed "Cashe" that I had no knowledge or record of any such transaction and he advised me that there was nothing he could do. If a fraudulent transaction had taken place, he suggested I contact my local police.

I have taken this up with my bank, filed a report with my local police, contacted the Better Business Bureau and filed an online complaint and I have contacted the Federal Bureau of Investigation, since this involves theft from a bank account across state lines.

Where did Pacific Webworks get my credit card information in the first place? I have no idea.

Their refusal to cancel this transaction and refund my money has scam written all over it and these people are bound to find themselves in trouble with the law.

I did not knowingly subscribe to any of their programs or services at any time. I have no record or recollection of ever having done business with this company.

Along with a lot of other people, I have been ripped off and I will stop at nothing to see these people brought to justice.

Do the same. Take this matter to your bank, file a police report and provide a copy of the report to your bank, contact the FBI and file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Pacific Webworks refunded my money!

AUTHOR: Crusader - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, January 18, 2008

I called my bank and filed an objection to the transaction, cancelled my Debit Card and issued a new one.

I filed a police report with my local police.

I called the FBI and was referred to the online claims website, where I filed an online complaint.

I e-mailed the Salt Lake City Police Department with details of my complaint.

I filed an online complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

I e-mailed the company, got no reply.

I called on the phone, first time got nowhere, second time, instructed to FAX a copy of my police report and bank documents to the FRAUD Division at Pacific Webware, my refund was in my bank account in about a week.

Keep after them!! Nag them, hound them, do everything possible to bring them to the attention of law enforcement officials. I got my money back, you can too.

In the mean time, I wonder why it's taking the authorities so long to shut this operation down.
