On July 14th I purchased an additional 1200 Talk+Text card from Page Plus.


Monday, July `19th, my phone gets odd txt messages, saying I have no balance
and further when attempt to make a call

Called their customer support 800 number and was on hold almost 30 min

The representative informs me that because I purchased an additional
"Talk-N-Text" BEFORE the 30 days had expired, my 29.95 went to their
rather spendy "minute by minute" rate. I said, this is odd, for your confirm
email shows I purchased talk-n-text. She said it's in the terms and conditions

I said, it didn't say anything about it on the online shopping cart --
I was not granted an opportunity to make an informed decision. So then she
puts me through to the "Supervisor" who basicly says or does nothing
different.

I ask nicely, reminding of the receipt code for the purchase. She doesn't
budge. I explain I'm on disability and now will have no cell phone
service for the remainder of the month -- can you not please over-ride
the error.

No Joy.

So, then I splain being disabled I have plenty of time on my hands and will
be pleased to get the FCC, ICC, Public Service Commission...

Upon which the "Supervisor" hung up.

Account Life Cycle
The Talk n Text 1200 plan renews automatically every month. In order to keep your Page Plus service active, you must add funds within 120 days from your last replenishment. Failure to do so will result in a loss of your balance and trigger a 30-day grace period, after which your phone number will be deactivated.

Nothing in the "Life Cycle" about paying them BEFORE it's due...

The "Details of this account" red linked page also says NOTHING about "Renew before
30 days and yer screwed"

So, I have 29.95 GONE with only 4 days of phone use at an exorbitant rate.

I'll be sending the printout email and credit card verification to my credit card provider
and then the FTC and FCC -- can anyone else suggest where else to send this?
