The collection originated from AT&T wireless. I had an account with them, but had to terminate it early, as I am in the military and was deployed to Saudi Arabia. They attempted to charge me the early termination fee of $200. I faxed them 3 copies of my military orders, 3 different times. They reported that they were not received and gave the account to Palisades Collection LLC. I sent them a copy of the orders, showing that I was deployed and am not subject to the early termination fee and Palisades refuse to remove the collection from my credit.

Discuss the issue with the base legal staff and see if you have a case to have them file with the State Attorneys office. If so they can have the state attorneys office file a lawsuit for the violation.
