Palm Beach Tan Service/ Limonte in Corona,  is most assuredly out to SCAM their clients. I went in for a "1" time tan service, I had never been spayed tan before. I Said I dont want a membership, I wanted totry it, they said it would be $35 one time fee.

When I paid, it was for $35.oo, so I gave my card and signed their pad for the credit card authorization,

Little to my knowledge it was signing me up for a monthly billing that they FORGOT to mention When I called to say I 100% asked for no membership, they said they had my signature on the agreement.

So beware!! Be very careful, when your signing for just a simple credit card authorization they are dishonestly signing you up for a membership and if your like me and did not check your bank statement for 3 months they will NOT credit you..  keeping in mind their staff gets commission, so the motivation is lie, lie , lie WARNING!! REFUND TO CUSTOMER

AUTHOR: Palm Beach Tan Corona - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, December 29, 2012

Susan/ Suzie visited the Corona- Limonite Palm Beach

Tan location on 5/10/2012. Suzie purchased:

$24.95 Sunless Membership

$7.00 Product

.60 Tax

$32.50 paid by Credit Card

Suzie signed a paper credit card receipt in the amount of $32.50 and

then signed electronically for the membership. At this time Suzie was provided

a copy of her membership agreement that she had signed, stating that she agreed

to $24.95 a month is tanning services.

On 8/1/2012 Suzie contacted Palm Beach Tan Limonite and spoke with the store

manager, whom immediatley cancelled her membership without hesitation. The

manager explained although there would be no cash refund, the company would

honor $67.00 in store credit, the amount paid thus far in unused services.

Suzie denied the offer. Suzie was then offered $67 in store credit and a month

free of unlimited tanning, which she also denied.

In no way does Palm Beach Tan trick or scheme customers into memberships. The

company has both a signed copy of the paper credit card receipt- as they

do not have an electronic credit card machine, as well as the copy of the

signed membership agreement. Electrnic signatures are only captured for

membership agreements as which time the customer is provided a copy. on

5/10/2012 Suzie signed both the paper credit card receipt and also the

electronic membership agreement. Thus there can never be any confusion, i.e.

the customer is signing a credit card receipt but truly signing a membership

agreement, can never occur.

Palm Beach Tan, as a sign of good faith sent Suzie a FULL REFUND in thr form of a company check which was cashed.

Heidi Shutlz PALM BEACH TAN CORONA, CA IS A FRAUD

AUTHOR: Susan - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, August 06, 2012

HEIDI SCHULTZ COMMITS FRAUD!!

I went into the Palm Beach Tan in Corona California. On Limonite . I went in with a friend. I was asking the girl that worked there if she thought a spray tan could change the tone on my skin color. I am naturally dark, and did not NEED a tan, however, I wanted to see if the Spray tan would change the tone of my skin from a reddish brown to a golden brown, she said.

Well, you can try it once, and if you like it you can get a membership I responded. That I did not wish to have a membership, however would love to try it, so she said it would be $35.00.

I gave her my credit card, she swiped it and asked me to sign the authorization plate, I did, then she said, oh, can you sign again, it did not go through,  so I did.

I was given a receipt for the $35.00 and that was all.

AT NO TIME WAS ANY RECEIPT GIVEN THAT WAS A CONTRACT , OR DID ANYONE STATE TO ME THAT IN ORDER TO GET A ONE TIME SPRAY I WOULD HAVE TO BE A MEMBER.

HEIDI SCHULTZ, owner of the salon was contacted and was going to hold me to the error of her staff. Then offers me additional services, and supplies I DONT NEED NOR WANT. How about returning the monies you debited to my account and do some proper  customer service?

Heidi Schultz is a fraud!

Take a look at ALL THE SIMILAR COMPLAINTS ABOUT PALM BEACH TAN!

THIS IS THEIR METHOD OF OPERATION.!!!  HEY, MS HEIDE SHULTZ, JUST REFUND MY MONEY, I DONT WANT YOUR SERVICES NOR DO I WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH YOU.

Palm Beach Tan would now like to offer Suzie $100 in store credit and 2 free months of unlimited tanning= $300 value for the $67 spent in unused membership. As you can see this company is fair and would like to extend a sign of good faith if a cease of this type of reporting begins immediatley and all negatives reports are removed.

Palm Beach Tan: Manager Heidi Shultz

Heidi Shultz, is aware staff is NOT informing customers that when they sign the Credit Card Authorization pad, they are not just signing authorization for fees, but they are also signing a contract that the CUSTOMER IS NOT aware of.

Managment knows they will be receiving a kick back or commission for each client that signs these contracts. And will not inform the clients.

Once the client becomes aware of the monthly billing, Management will hold client to the contract and will not refund any monies, only offer a credit for services that the client doesnt need or want.

It is the postion of PALM BEACH TAN;;;  HEIDI SHULTZ = Fraud= that is is a perfectly legal practice.
