Palm Beach Tan only cares about screwing people out of their money! I put my account on hold in December 2012 and was told that since it was close to the next billing cycle, January's dues my be deducted from my account but not to worry because it would be refunded to me in February's billing cycle. When I never got the money refunded to me, I emailed the company's
website and explained the situation. I received a call from a rude store employee that kept telling me over and over that the situation was my fault because I obviously misunderstood the cashier because Palm Beach Tan never ever gives customers refunds under any circumstances and all of their employees are well aware of that policy. I informed the store employee that I did not misunderstand and neither did my fiance who was there at the time and who also put his account on hold and was told the exact same thing! The store employee told me she would have to ask her general manager because Palm Beach Tan never
ever gives customers refunds under any circumstances. I told her that it would be wrong of them to not refund me because I paid for the month of January and was unable to tan because my account had been placed on hold. I also told the
store employee to inform the general manager that if I was not given a refund I would be forced to report their company to the Better Business Bureau.

The store employee laughed at me and said that Palm Beach Tan has been reported to the Better Business Bureau multiple times and they neither care or issue refunds. I then told the store employee that was fine because I would take legal action if it came to it. The store employee told me in the most condescending tone that if I wanted to try and take legal action against Palm Beach Tan that was fine because they have a team of legal experts I would be going up against! The store employee called me back a few minutes later and said the general manager refused to give me a refund! I then reported the company to the Better Business Bureau and wasn't surprised to see that the Better Business Bureau had received multiple complaints about Palm Beach Tan. In fact, they have an F rating!

Palm Beach Tan responded to my complaint with the Better Business Bureau by saying that I was trying to scam their company out of money by "blaming one of their poor hardworking employees who had been with them for over a year!" Palm Beach Tan also said that they "worked exhaustively to try and resolve the issue"!!!! I was SO angry that Palm Beach Tan was assassinating MY character when they are the ones who stole from ME and trying to say that a ten minute conversation was "working exhaustively to resolve my issue"! I responded to their false allegations by saying that they agree with the fact that I paid for the month of January and did not tan in the month of January! I paid for a service and did not receive that service, therefore, they should refund the money! I also told them they were lying about "exhaustively working to resolve my issue"! More like exhaustively trying to screw me! Palm Beach Tan then uploaded an "agreement" of my membership with my electronic signature. This so called "agreement" was NEVER shown to me and was 6 pages long. It basically said that I fully understand that Palm Beach Tan never ever gives refunds and can screw me anyway at anytime and I agree to be screwed. Upon seeing this, I replied stating that I had four witnesses who are current members of Palm Beach Tan who will testify on my behalf that they have never ever seen this "agreement." I guess that scared Palm Beach Tan because they immediately informed the Better Business Bureau that they would not discuss the matter any further.

If you must open an account with Palm Beach Tan, I urge you to pay in cash and do not allow them to automatically draft payments. Also, make sure you do not provide an electronic signature that can be falsely posted on anything! Make them show you the agreement on paper and sign the paper! I will never do business with these dishonest liars again! It is one thing to steal my money and it is another to dishonestly assassinate my character!
