I used Palmer Financial Consultants only because of friend of mine worked there at the time.

I was made a bunch of promises that was never delivered. In beginning, I was still uncertain and wanted to back out of their services but they would not return all my money. They were going to keep $500. So as a result, I continued with their services.

My friend's manager named Armando got on the phone, and he was true BS artist, he sold me on what they will deliver. He said they will get me 30 to 40 cents on the dollar. I asked how do you know for sure? He said Mr. Palmer is a former agent and he has his own set of agents he directly works with at the IRS. He said nobody else can get the deals we get because Mr. Palmer has a direct connection with them. The average person that tries to do it on their own can't get what we get because of that.

Once I filed my first complaint on a different site, another old friend of mine that now works there, said they "ONLY GO BY THE IRS PARAMETERS." So all the BS Armando sold me on that they can get what others can't get is TOTAL BS!!!!!

Armando even went to the extent to tell me to STOP making monthly auto debit payments to the IRS and that they are just a collection agency and can't do anything to you. Unfortunately, I listened to his bad advice. After I stopped, they told me I had to make another payment to the IRS. When I went to a local office to pay them and I told the lady I was working with a company she said you could have done it on your own. All they do is take your money. She wasn't lying.

My situation wasn't bad. I owed less than $11,000 with the IRS, mainly because I sold my house early and owed money back on a government interest loan.

In the end, Palmer Financial Consultants settled out for $7500.

SO THEY SAVED ME LESS THAN $500 UPFRONT AND SOME INTEREST AND LATE FEES ON THE BACK!! THIS DOESN'T EVEN COME CLOSE TO THE $3,000 I PAID.

I told the Customer Service rep and Armando over and over again, if I didn't get at least 40 cents on the dollar it made no sense for me to do this.

I even asked Armando what happens if there was no benefit? He personally assured me all of my money would be refunded because there HAS TO BE A BENEFIT TO THE CONSUMER AND THEY DO NOT OPERATE BUSINESS THAT WAY.

***THAN HERE IS WHERE IT GET'S EVEN BETTER!!!***

It says in their contract if the matter is not resolved within 6 months it is MONEY BACK GUARANTEE OF ALL THE FEES I PAID.

I started the process on 3/16/2016 and it was resolved on 9/27/2016

It took 6 months and 11 days.

I emailed Mr. Palmer with a detailed letter of my complaints about the lies and the promises that were never delivered.

I even try to come to a fair resolution with Mr. Palmer and settle it out for $1,500. I wasn't initially looking for the $3,000. I just wanted to benefit as a consumer for what was PROMISED TO ME by his manager Armando.

I gave Mr. Palmer 4 days to repsond to my request and he failed to do so.

On the money back guarantee contract, it says to ask for a refund questionnaire. I have emailed my customer service rep Sandy Harris 3 times for one. She initially said she does not handle that but will forward to the proper party. I never got the questionnaire. I have emailed Sandy 2 more times and she has not responded to either simple email.

I even put a complaint on Google and they got upset with that. I even told Mr. Palmer in my letter that if he refunded me half my money back, not only would I delete the comment, but I would give him 5 stars and write a nice review.

Guess that wasn't good enough.

Just know when using Palmer Financial, I don't doubt they don't do good with some clients, but when it comes to clients they didn't benefit, they will take your money and run.

They send you a money back guarantee contract that they don't honor.

Good luck using them. You are rolling the dice. I just hope you don't get screwed like I did.

Next step, Federal Trade Commision and Attorney General office.

Mr. Palmer, I may or may never see any type of refund. It's just unfortunate you couldn't even honorably resolve a simple matter with a client of yours that was a self generated lead by one of your former salesman. You couldn't resolve a simple matter with someone that use to work with 2 of your current employees one of which was like a sister to me. One of those employees knows I have a lot of connections on social media where if I was done right in the end I would have highly promoted your business. The only reason I even used your firm was because your former salesman promoted he wiped clean one of his clients 20K debt and another client a much greater debt. Like I said, I don't doubt you have not had many success stories and I stated that to you in a personal email. There will also be times where a client such as myself did not get a success story. It happens. I have stated over and over and over again in emails to your team that if I didn't get 50% or better of a settlement than this was not going to be a benefit. There was one email that your customer service rep stated she was going to bring my concern to your attention. Knowing that was my one and only goal, if your company felt it was not going to be accomplished, "after all your company supposedly pre-qualified me," than why keep stringing me along and collecting $250 every other week all the way until you reached $3,000?? Your manager Armando swore to me your firm ALWAYS settles for 30 to 40 cents on the dollar. He swore to me, you have YOUR OWN special team that you deal with. Which my former co-worker tells me later that you ONLY GO BY THE IRS PARAMETERS. So in other words, there is no special team you deal with. That is where my frustrations come in. It's not just the money. I was completely mislead with false information by your team. My constant emails stating my 1 and only goal was completely ignored until you guys collected my entire $3000. This all happened knowing I had friends and former co-workers of mine that I had a good repoire with that works/worked for your firm. I understand your contract is very broad and that is what you are looking to stick me with, but in reality , you I would not be going back and forth like this if your company was just simply honest with me and told me, we can not obtain your goal. If that is your only goal than we dont want to take on your file because you were already handling it in a good way with the IRS. Instead, I was mislead, while my money was being collected. If you would like to civilly try to resolve this matter I'm all ears. I still trust you and I can work something out. As you said in your own personal email to me "We will be fair". Are you going to honor your words? Thank you,

POSTED: Tuesday, December 13, 2016

As it is referenced several times in this review, a quick update - the BBB rating is an A-, not an F.

All BBB complaints have been closed in favor of Palmer Financial Consultants after review of documents and contracts and logs we provided to the BBB.

Mr. Palmer, as I explained to you in a nice email, I am sure you have had many success stories and I was hoping to add to your success story.

You personally told me, after I sent my first complaint, that you would be fair with me. I to have that in an email personally from you. Just like I have several emails to your staff early in the process stating the only way this would be beneficial to me would be a 50% or more settlement. According to "your former" manager Armando who I heard left your company for reasons I won't disclose is he PROMISED me I would get 30 to 40 cents on the dollar. That is the only reason I continued.

To the general public, absolutely you have a choice, if you feel Palmer Financial Consultants you provide you a "service" and remember what Mr. Palmer is stressing "services rendered" than absolutely go with them. It's a free country.

I hope you do become one of his success stories. That would be great.

I am just informing you what happened to me. It appears the same thing happned to Melvin on BBB.

In America, people file complaints all the time. It is up to the general public to use research to make the decisions that will help benefit them.

Unfortunately, I trusted a company that one of my best friends worked for, and in the end a true "benefit" was not delivered from the promises I was sold by Mr. Palmer management team who is NO LONGER even working for Palmer Financial.

I know the reason why. I just won't disclose that reason.

All I can do is shake my head.

people you can do as you please but as mentioned I was able to work out MY OWN easy payment of $400. If you look at BBB Melvin H was given $160 month by Palmer. His response was that's ridiculous I could have done that myself! Palmer Financial got me an UNNECESSARY PAYMENT OF $160 which served NO BENEFIT to me because I was already paying the IRS $400 month with no issues. So in other words call the IRS yourself, save $3500, and tell the IRS you can only afford $160. Obviously, that's what Palmer Financial does. Mr. Palmer, what happened to your one and only email you left me where you PERSONALLY told me you would review my file and get back to me right away. You will be fair?? I really thought when you wrote that we had a chance to peacefully resolve and walk away with a positive result. I can see now where your team members get well trained to mislead clients, and take their money, rather work towards their goal. Good luck to you sir. You can rebutt any way you want but the general public can read between fine lines. Thank you for providing a consumer looking to better their situation into a worst situation. You can say whatever you want a "services rendered" but that doesn't mean it was a "beneficial finish" To the public, remember his words, "services rendered" * for the client a $3500 reduction BUT client charged $3000 *got client $160 payment BUT client was already comfortably paying $400 month They look out for their own benefit NOT yours!!

Services Provided as per contract

AUTHOR: palmerfinancial - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, December 06, 2016

1 - by the client's own admission we provided the service of reducing the debt to the IRS and lowering the monthly payment. His wish to save more money or decision after the fact that it was not worth it does not change the contract nor the services rendered. The money back guarantee was not applicable since the payments were modified well before the final resolution. Whether or not we saved him "enough" is subjective and not valid.

2 - the much bigger issue becomes the credibility of an individual that in writing to several different individuals (copies of emails, chats, etc can be provided) states that : "If I don't get money from you I will continue to write complaints and go to damage your business as much as possible - but if you give me money I'll take it all down and write nice reviews" - there is a legal term for that.
